stravi757
Just thought Id share my newest Z. I decided to finally go megasquirt my 280z, so I needed a DD since its not going to be running for a long time. I found this car in foster city when my brother went to go buy his motorcycle. It was in the same complex. I noticed the cars tags were out of date, So i figured the person who owned it must not be driving it, and might want to sell it . I left a note note and got a call back. Turned out the guy no longer lives in California and wants to sell the car, YAY. I paid 1,300 for it. Feel like I over payed but I dont care, Im happy with it. Car has 113,00 miles on it.All of the electronics work minus the cruise control, Runs and almost drives perfectly( small vacuum leak somewhere), passed smog no problem. Has nice interior, aftermarket stero, T-Tops...Im ready for summer. If I had known how comfortable these cars were compared to the s30 I would have owned one 2 years ago! The bad. Unfortunately the car has rust. Drivers side frame rail is rotted badly. Not sure if im going to fix it thought since this is just my DD. Im thinking I will in the future buy a 280zx turbo shell that someone else used for a turbo swap. Not thinking about it too much yet. I wanna focus on getting the 280z running again. I dont want to get financially invested in this car yet. Okay, I seriously suck at using photo bucket and posting images. How do I make it so when you click on the image it enlarges it and doesn't take you to a link instead? BluDestiny
when you upload the pictures you scroll over them and choose the link at the bottom for the image. it will be like img or something. Congrats on the find its a 5speed and has a decent interior. If I didn't have a 280zx already I would be looking for a turbo to daily. Honeslty if it runs adn drives and you had to do minimal work to get it there I don't think you overpaid too much unless back registration was like over $400 although I don't know how bad the rust is. If your car snaps in half when you jack the front up bad or just like a few holes bad Edited March 15, 2011 by BluDestiny

Not to much. But I just try to look at it as I got a running car for 1,300. I would say I also I got a turbo swap out of it, but I already have three turbo engines laying in the garage .
