datsun dave Posted April 5, 2011 Share Posted April 5, 2011 Ok some help needed have a 1970 S30 running a RB26 engine and the RB25 gearbox my RB25 propshaft has a different fitting and will not bolt up to a R200 diff should I just have the propshaft cut and shut with a S30 propshaft, or are there any other diffs that will work with out any major surgery ? RB26powered74zcar Posted April 6, 2011 Share Posted April 6, 2011 There are a few different diff flanges that have slightly different bolt spacing, that came on the various model cars with the R200. ZT-R Posted April 6, 2011 Share Posted April 6, 2011 dave, dave, dave... im gonna beat ya buddy, just ordered my axles and backing plates from techno tuning. i have had their r230 swap but had to wait on other parts to get fabbed. just do a r230 swap and be done. not to mention that is a rear brake upgrade too Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
