  1. Great to see. The flares on #2 where done right. I know Bill, and he is meticulous with a great eye for subtle Flair, pun intended.
  2. Any comments on the Hunsaker racing seats For street/lapping day duty?
  3. Great answers from the forum. What region are you in? If te SS guys are fast then take one SS driver and have him take a fun run ride with you or better yet if you trust let a very experienced driver take a run. I have taught many drivers schools for AutoX and the first thing I usually notice when I ride with someone is there line and throttle inputs. After a few runs we would swap, most drivers can figure out your car after 3 manuevers. It is up to you to fine tune after that for driver likes and dislikes. Also if you are running short 22" tires with all that power you need to try the 23.5" Slick on 10-12 inch rims with around one degree or less camber in the rear. Bias Ply tires do not need that much camber and are more forgiving than the radials. Good luck! Good rule of them is to check your control arms especially in the rear static to make sure they are level.
  4. What are your alignment specs and what size tires and rims are you using. Also what brand and model of tire are you using? If you were on slicks were they real slicks ie no hologram or groove on the tire or are they Autox compound radials , ie Kumho 710's or Hoosier A6's I would not stagger front to rear wheels in AutoX and with the power you are putting out I would want to be on 16x10's Fr &RR. Depending on your tire I would look hard at camber plates on under the shock tower adjusters so you do not have to cut. You need at least 1.5 degrees of camber in the front and 1.8 rear with 1/4 Toe out Fr and 1/4 Toe in for the rear if you are using A6's or 710's. About 28F 26R psi check your sidewall rollover. Good luck BTW, with out a LSD you would be wasting your tires. I make a huge difference and a must to AutoX. Is your 3:90 a R180 or R200?
  5. Any ideas where to look for these Front Flares. Maybe someone has for sale? Or took the molds... I will have to start another thread..If they are for sure MSA Flares. Any help appreciated:grin:
  6. I'm interested in who made the front fender flares? That is very close to what I'm looking for...Thanks
  7. Great thread. will you guys have finished and mounted pics to discern the shape and depth of the pieces on a vehicle? I'm very interested in the front fenders and the front and rear spoiler if they will be for sale and how much for each piece? Great pictures!
  8. I'm new to playing with the Electromotive System. A friend has offer his old TEC I believe it is the HV1? System with a O2 sensor and the Damper with crank trigger. Herein lays the question of performance and driveability. I have Triple Mikuni's,Recurved Distributor, Pertronix Ignitor and MSD 6AL. I have not had any issues with starting other than my Starter or spark. I'm getting back into running my 240 again after 6 years and was simply spoiled by the dead on timing and accuracy of running fuel injection in my ole' L98 C4. I can not see taking the nostalgia out and running fuel injection but I want to know if the benefits and tune with the TEC system is worth the time over my existing setup. Any thoughts?
  9. So did anyone come to conclusion on what size and diameter rims these are?
  10. How is the ride quality of the 16x8.5's? I'm trying to find out if I want 15x8.5's or 16x8.5's I have Flares and Coilovers so not concerned about clearance with right offset and ride height.
  11. Great thread! So which shop has been able to produce the best grind for a good street ie TQ cam and or AutoX Cam for a L28 with 9:2 Compression?
  12. Unfortunately little Hobie Cat and Multi Hull sailing as the Lake I grew up sailing on a very choppy, Lake Erie. I have raced and sailed mostly Mono Hulls everything from Laser,Thistles,Highlander,Flying Scot small one design Boats to J24,T10,MORC and J29,J34,J35 and Farr 45's. A great Boat in the the 26' Ft range is the S2 7.9. Very well made overnighter that is a quick boat and good down wind speed. No matter what you Sail it is better than not Sailing at all. "Sailing forever, yardwork whenever.
