  1. What color is that? It looks kind of like CRP (Cherry Red Pearl) from the 90-96 300ZX era.
  2. I would have to agree with this. Without pictures it is hard to say though.
  3. 100% ^ That price was for Soda Blasting the Entire Body of the car which is off the Frame and stripped (no glass, trim, interior etc..). Then 2 coats of Primer laid down on what is left for protection. So it is a little more than just stripping it. My bad.
  4. http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_00950239000P?vName=Gifts&cName=Father%27sDay&sName=Fix-it%20Father&psid=FROOGLE01&sid=IDx20070921x00003a Just picked this one up on sale for 159! Great Jack. There is this one on sale at Harbor Freight too! Great Deal @ 99 bucks! Only 3k lbs though... http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=91039 Here is the 4k lbs one for the same price I got my Craftsman... http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/Category.taf?CategoryID=710&pricetype
  5. I took my Injectors to his shop in Kirkland and had him clean and flow test them. They are the side feeds for the 90-96 300ZX. I gave him 8 and he chose the best 6, ultrasonically cleaned them and flow tested them. One went out after 7k miles. Now I am replacing them all with the newer Deatschwerks Pintle-less Style Injectors for the same price as he charged to stick mine in a cleaning tank and flow test them. For $369 I would have expected them to last longer than 7k miles. I got a Brand new set of new style from Deatschwerks for $379. All in all I could have ordered all Brand New NISMO Injectors and been done with it. He does provide a Flow chart and whatnot with the return of the Injectors though. Still not worth $369 to Set the Injectors in an Ultrasonic Cleaner(Harbor Freight $50), Apply 12v for actuation Test(Battery and some wires), then Flow Test them. The only thing I don't have a machine for is the Flow Testing of them. Not his fault for the Coil windings being inferior but still pricey to say the least.
  6. Going to do this with my '66 Chevelle. Waiting for Dude in Oregon to hook it up. He quoted 2000-2500 for the entire body as it is off the frame. Opinions on price??? good...Bad?
  7. Got one from Grizzly and it had a Remote Pump for the Press. 10k lbs and works great to say the least... http://grizzly.com/products/10-Ton-Floor-Shop-Press/H6232 I got it on sale for 139??? I think. Picked it up though no shipping charges. It has a 12k lbs gauge and everything so you actually know what pressure you are pressing at. That in itself helps out immensely. Not really comparable to the 80 bucks but there are better units out there for cheap too.
  8. Simply beautiful. Very nicely done sir. Nice last Dyno pull too!!!
  9. So this belongs in here then... Picture I took...
  10. Purple Neons in each Wheel Well. Blue Neons under the whole car. All encased in 1/2" clear plastic tubing that filled with water. NOS stickers everywhere. Wiring nightmare from 12670 different stereo installations. "Special Edition" chrome Pep Boys special centered in the tails. Heated Springs for a drop. 15' tall bookshelf F-40 style spoiler with a few inches of play. Electrical tape covering holes in Intake Piping. Rattle can clear coated the ENTIRE Engine Bay and components for that "Show" quality shine. Only half of every nut/bolt/screw was re-installed after being removed...
  11. No not really. I have personally watched this build from the beginning. I am glad to see that it is up and running. It was in my garage for a long time. I watched it go from rolling Chassis all the way in WA to the beautiful car that it is today in Chi-town. I do believe the car is coming back over here for storage for a while though. I used Fram Filters for years. I personally am not a fan. Just an opinion. Everyone has them. Back on topic... Did you pull the pump and check it out Kalle?
  12. At least she's running! It's been too long. I would go with a stuck check ball allowing too much PSI on startup also. Get that FRAM off of there! =)
