This is EXTREMELY interesting. Would like to do the same and also fab a duct with a smaller opening to the radiator. The desire is to get aero such that my 240Z is stable at higher speeds and also get VERY good cooling of the radiator.
I started to really hate my car, I have done so much to get this car up and running better but every time i do something else goes wrong, i just don't get it, is this car a complete loss cause its thirty years old or what, I have to figure out what to do here? New members of Hybridz just wanted to post a pic of my sons z31 . We want to tell everyone about our new shop autoexpectations.com in northern Va.We live and breathe every thing nissan and datsun for over 30 years.We had a shop called Datsun Dynamics for 23 years and now where back as AE.We have raced Datsuns and Nissans for 25 years.
So now I'm working almost every day sanding and filling and trying to get everything to be just right before I paint. The hardest part is getting the body line that starts close to the top and just to the rear of the front wheel arches back to the rear of the car, to be just right. This body line was almost nonexistent on the rear quarter panels, so I essentially have to recreate it. On the doors and front fenders the body wasn’t consistent with shallow dents just below it.
