  1. Let me clarify my first post. There is only one sender for your gauge. The "other single wire-sender to temp gage" in your post [yellow wire] has two different part numbers depending on if you have a digital or analog instrument cluster. If you get the wrong replacement sending unit it will throw off the display on your gauge by about half. Thats a mistake I made recently I was trying to help you avoid.
  2. Hey man that looks like a great set up. I think I'll go with hemi joints on the front control arms. That way my adjustable t.c. rods will change caster without binding them. All four trailing arm bushings are solid. I turned and pressfit them at a friend's machine shop. Got to thank Jeff P. for his drawing of the subframe mounts. Turned those in aluminum to his dimensions and they pressed in real nice. I do have rear coil-overs and have them set at about 2"drop. When the fronts are done I'll go to 3" drop I think. It's a street car, can't go to low. Do you think this will give me enough camber adjustment to compensate for the drop? I want to keep a good contact patch on the road and not eat tires up. Without any examples of our specific car's rear suspension being modified it's trial and error for me. If I get it wrong I can start over but would rather not. For the toe I might slot the holes forward to reduce the factory toe-in some. What's a good rear toe setting for good handling without excessive tire wear? Thanks for any advice you can give.
  3. Here's some progress pics of adjustable rear camber on my S130. I'm using Z31 rear toe adjuster bolts with slotted plates welded to the sides of the original crossmember brackets that are also slotted to match. I plan on doing the same to the inside pivot points but slot them horizontaly to set the toe-in. I found a write up on this in the Z31 section. Also, the bushings are solid aluminum.
  4. Hey all, here's my driving donor car. It's an 82 280zxt with some rust issues. I'll be using it's drivetrain to power my 79 slick top 2 seater restoration project. So far I've done: 3" exhaust; Magnaflow muffler Dsm blow-off valve welded to jpipe Aluminum rad 17" Enkei's; Falken tires rear coil-overs manual boost controler-8psi for now more to come: 2 1/2" intercooler,T3/T4,Z31 Maf,ect...
  5. Yeah, very interested in this also. How about motor set back and shifter placement ect. in s130 chassis with this combo? Nice find on the slick top. Mine's a 79' I'm turboing but rb25det is looking like a great way to go.
  6. Also, there are two different sending units for the temp gauge. One for digital dash and one for analog. If you get them mixed up you'll have an inacurate reading. Sorry no part numbers to add to this.
