  2. These appear to also use the bar wrap vs a bolt. i'll have to figure it out and post what I do. thanks for all the info.
  3. I understand the serious nature and risk of installing harnesses properly. That said bolting the harness to the frame is acceptable practice when first wrapped around a harness bar and maintaining a 0 - 20 degree downward slop. Please see the Bolt-In brackets section for details: http://www.schrothracing.com/sdocs/2009_Competition_Instructions.pdf. So my question remains; where are people bolting the inside shoulder strap? Is everyone using bar-mount harnesses? Are people welding custom mount points? I know there are plenty of people racing S30's.
  4. no strut tower bar, but the harness isn't a bar mount, its a bolt mount, so i can't mount it directly to the bar.
  5. Yes, I took care of that before buying the harnesses. That said, i am not racing it, just want the extra support in the mountains. I have already mounted the outside straps to the stock seat belt mounts, and the inside lap belt to the stock inside seat belt. What i am not sure about is where to mount the 4th strap.
  6. i'm trying to install a 4 point harness, and i'm confused about where to bolt the inside shoulder (ie drivers right, pass left) strap. any help is appreciated.
  7. I have a 77 280z that came with a factory cruise control. I say that because my grand father bought the car with it and parked it in a barn for 25 years. I can take pics tonight. its a suction control on the throttle.
  8. Did he do that for ITB or just as a single tb upgrade? Also, sorry in advance if this is a dumb question, but why is there an intake port left open? That doesn't seem right to me.

  10. Why would you use the Flat top pistons vs dished pistons for a turbo build? Any ideas what this setup would produce at a mild boost setting ~7-10lbs?

  12. So I'm peicing together my body kit, and i'm curious to know if anyone has made their own 1 piece fascia with the fenders, hood and airdam like the cobra kit? I'm planning on doing it, but always look for advice rather than reinvente the wheel. thanx in advance.
