  2. Yes, you certainly are a prick (as you yourself stated). My spewing of the Dynojet numbers was merely for comparison purposes since most here probably have had their cars tested on a Dynojet, and those with experience in this area are familiar with the fact that the Dynojet will produce numbers 12-15% higher than a Dyno Dynamics reading. Cleve :P
  3. Check the other thread, more info. http://forums.hybridz.org/index.php/topic/95522-guess-the-280zx-turbo-rwhp-based-only-on-dyno-video/ Cleve
  4. I agree. I was standing there filming and thought wow that is going to be a BIG number based on the quickness of the run...sound can be deceiving. I thought it would be interesting to see what others thought the numbers were. Cleve
  5. Yes, PT76GTS, .96 turbine housing, not sure which wheel. Not sure of the cam specs, but it is a big one based on the base circles. She was just starting to make power (25PSI) and then fell on her face (10:1 AFR and timing issues). We were unable to do any tuning because I did not have the MicroTech adapter. Not sure on the converter either. Sorry I don't have more details, I bought it second hand. Trying to get back on the dyno next week...she is gonna make more. Cleve
  6. Don't worry, there's a LOT more in her. We were unable to communicate with the Microtech ECU because I did not have the Microtech adapter. She was going pig rich (10:1) right as the power came on and timing was way off and we could not make any adjustments (I think the car was tuned for a huge shot of nitrous and that is why we were seeing this happen on the current tune as delivered to me). Hopefully the adapter comes in quickly and I can get back on the dyno next week. That's around 500RWHP on a Dynojet by the way. Do you like my picture, goes with the era of cars we are playing with, don't you think? Cleve
  7. Jeez, I'm starting to feel like I'm on some uptight Porsche or BMW forum, lighten up Ron! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uu7lTf_xfmA http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rj9pqvDZLYI Dyno 280ZX Turbo0001(2).pdf
  8. Some of you are better at this than others Dyno 280ZX Turbo0001(2).pdf
  9. Let's see how good everyone is at guessing RWHP based only on Dyno videos, no cheating! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rj9pqvDZLYI http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uu7lTf_xfmA Cleve
  10. C16 and we will start out in the 20PSI range and work our way up, not sure if she will take 35+ with the standard ARP head studs, probably need the L19 hardware to keep her head from lifting...we'll see, I'll video everything. Cleve
  11. Day of reckoning tomorrow ladies. Drove her out on the street today and the butt dyno tells me she is making some power. If anyone cares to witness the infamous ZX, come on by Forged Performance, I'm scheduled to get on the dyno at 9:30AM.
  12. Pinks all out? I hope you have more than a high 11 @ 115
  13. Here's another POS of mine: http://www.streetfire.net/video/1096-133-porsche-gt2-gt700_68238.htm
  14. TH400 + 26.5 Drag Tires + PT76GTS + 93 octane + 10PSI = need for some slickum to get things rollin
  15. Amazing how well tire shine works as a lubricant
  16. You're awful cocky for only running 11.83 @ 115
  17. Chill out homey I just recently acquired the damn car primarily for its engine (planning on installing it in a road race or decently built track/street chassis and get rid of the damn automatic). I have performed a few maintenance items to ready it for the dyno and as soon as I can get it scheduled, I will take it over to either Forged or Battlground here in Atlanta. I'm not some numb nuts Miamian with no claims, I have built a few fast cars in my time and this one has the ingredients to make some serious power...hopefully it holds together. How about this for a claim, I built an IMSA GTU bodied 240 with a junkyard 280ZX Turbo L28 long block (no bullshit) running a draw-through carbureted Turbo Tom set up with a 750 Holley and a Turbonetics T-66 turbonium. This POS motor made 522RWHP and ran 11's @ 130 in a road race chassis and a G-Force 5-Speed with a ridiculously tall first gear (can't remember the ratios). This car became Bob Hanvey's Super Datsun...suck on them apples. Cleve
  18. Not sure if I understand your post or your point???
  19. Feel? I'm not a drag racer, so to me it feels like a spongy rust bucket with a little too much power that doesn't want to turn or stop;) Seriously though, I have only driven it in the parking lot and down a side street, it needs dyno testing and tuning before it is unleashed. If it doesn't sell, I am going to put the engine in a road race chassis mated to a 5-speed manual. Cleve
  20. Did a little work on her to fix some leaks and address some minor issues so she'll be ready for the dyno. Made this short video in the car wash parking lot. She's a little slow to spool (tall tires + TH400) without nitrous and running 93 octane pump gas at only 10PSI. Anyone care to guess what kind of power she makes on the dyno at 30+PSI on Q16? Cleve
  21. Have not sold the Track car, ZX Turbo, or the engine out of the ZX Turbo as of yet. Waiting for the manifolds to come back from the fabricator's and then maybe I will get a chance to dyno the ZX Turbo.
  22. Yes, have known both of them for years from racing. They have not seen her yet.
  23. 16x8 or 8.5 I was told by Jeff, not absolutely sure on the width, need to measure. Tires are 225/45-16. Need to also check the offset, car is at fabricator's shop which is about 45 minutes away, I'll check next time I'm there. I really want to go with 17x9 or 9.5's and use CF ZG Flares but I will have a hard time cutting into that beautiful body work.
