  1. Folks I need a drivers side rear lower control arm. I don't need the hub or anything, just need to buy the control arm as fast as possible. Please PM me or email me at allenkrolik@yahoo.com
  2. Any chance for a tracking number/insurance number to use for tracking? I have to display this thing proudly at a huge event this car has to be ready for this Sunday - I'm curious if the rail got shipped out or not. Cheers
  3. Oh I've been porting out the runners for a few hours last night and making sure everything was as smooth as possible. I'm going to be wrapping the exhaust manifold and turbo with heat wrap so the intake manifold won't be soaking up so much heat. I figure it would do a better job than those flimsy metal shields. Besides, the car's going to be in motion more than it's going to be sitting anyway. I've been looking at my turbo and there's definitely more work than I hoped was involved in mating up a 3" downpipe. My turbo has no shaft play whatsoever, but I need to take steps ahead to get some power out of this car. Looks like I'm going to have to spring for different turbo and just shelf this little T3 for a while.
  4. Gents, Have some questions for you. I have the exhaust/intake manifolds off of my car right now. I cleaned out the exhaust manifold and it's minty fresh right now. As for the intake manifold - I'm in the process of dewebbing it right now. I'm blocking off the pop off valve with a 1" pipe plug and am going to be grinding down useless bumps and I've already made a plate to block the EGR. I want a bare bones manifold here folks - what's absolutely necessary to keep on this manifold and what can I just get rid of? The car isn't going to be driven in the winter, so what can I get rid of in terms of cold start equipment? Does anybody run a 3" downpipe on their stock turbos? I'd love to have some pictures of those set ups for inspiration. I have all the 3" piping in the world and I'd love to fab one up.
  5. cant wait to get one of these bad boys in the mailbox
  6. Gentlemen, I inherited my fathers 82 (81/83) 280ZX Turbo a while back and am only now having the opportunity to set this bad boy straight. First things first, I need some sort of air. I don't care for air conditioning, I just need heat and a fan.I have the dash out and found a plethora of cut in half vacuum lines. I hooked them all back up because after I cleaned them a bit I found they were all color coded. Now my question. ASIDE from converting to the manual system (I have the manual control box thing on standby if it comes down to it) what would you do to fix your HVAC system while the dash was out? There seems to be a lot of connectors everywhere and it's pretty darn interesting. Lets get another Z back on the road and kicking!
  7. I semi like what he's done with the tail lights.. otherwise it's the epitome of ugly.
  8. Guys, I have a leak after the turbo. My best guess here is that the exhaust donut is screwed up leaving me with a BIG exhaust leak. It's loud and I'd rather have my exhaust shoot out my glasspack. Engine is an 81 Turbo. Does anybody have the dimensions for the donut or where I can get one? I want to get rid of this leak. I've searched, but I don't know if it's for my application or not. Help?
