The Funding:
-I'm going to try to stay under $15,000 when it's all said and done.
I found this car on ebay. I have contacted the owner and he offered me the car at a price of $3500
Unfortunately it is an 8 hour drive away, so these pictures are what I have to go buy. The seller has been
very great in taking pictures for me. There are ones of the door jams, hatch, and under the hood; On the way.
Here is the skinny.
This is a strong running project car that looks good but needs the interior completed and minor finishing for the body. This is NOT a perfect car nor a show car but it is a strong engine and no problem transmission along with dual Webber downdraft carbs and K&N filters. She has wire wheels but with two different center cap styles that give a nice racing spirit. The car was recently painted but there are several defects in the paint. The car has a front air dam and side panels as well as a rear spoiler. The turn signals do not work at this time. All new heat sheild and sound proofing has been applied and rust proofing applied to the bottom and wheel wells. I have an original radio but have not installed it or checked it out. The car will come with over $100 in manuals and a CD on repair and restoration. There are other spare parts that come with the car. The seats were redone and look nice with yellow piping on the edges. The driver seat does have a small tear in it. These are original seats however with the air flow backs. The steering wheel is original walnut as is the shift knob. I have a replacement sport steering wheel and matching yellow knob included as well. The car is perfectly driveable but needs cosmetic and interior work as stated. I recently put in a new battery and replaced the points, ignition wires, plugs and adjusted all the engine so she purrs. There is no warranty on the vehicle. I am not a dealer, only an owner so ask any questions and I will try to get back with you as soon as possible with as much information as I can gather. This is a four speed with a wide shift pattern and 6 cylinders. The gas gauge does not work at this time but I will keep plugging away at it. I have a complete set of checked out gauges available with the car. The car has nearly new tires and a Monza exhaust.
Everything sounds great except the rust part, so here are pictures.
