pearl?
Of course.
Im thinking about pulling the trigger on the Rota RB group buy 17x9 and 17x9.5's. Then I'd sell my rewinds to recomp some money.
I'm just afraid of trying to flare my fenders and messing it up. I NEED YOU NICK.

Oh my god Stivva. Gorgeous.

DMV / State workers not knowing their own rules?
Yep, business as usual.
-
I'm gonna do white. Maybe even a rustoloeum job.
-
Thinking about the color scheme I plan on.
Maybe white, with black ZG flares, spoiler and air dam with black rota RB's?
Ideas, ideas!

Silver is such a sharp looking color on Zs.

Really happy with the Speedhut gauges. Only wish they had generic outputs for datalogging.
I'm considering those, but based on your write up they look a little tricky to wire.
-
I'm still here. Waiting till the spring to order the rest. I still need to figure out my shifter situation, order new gauges (thinking autometer phantom), get a driveshaft made.. and plenty of wiring to do. I'm really excited to get it going though.

Can I get a price on the 4 Inch speedometer, 4 inch tach, as well as 2 5/8 fuel level, water temp and oil pressure?
-
Those would be some pretty small turbos.

I've been following you.
Could you tell me what wiring diagram you used? I'll be wiring up my Z in the spring and I have an LT1.
-
Are you saying the cable is too short? I had to go with an aftermarket shifter for that reason.
Sorry, allow me to clarify. I have an aftermarket shifter that mounts onto the tailhousing on the transmission, where the shifter is, does not line up with the shifter hole.

I'm preparing to run my trans cooling line and dipstick for my 4L60e, can anyone post me pictures of how they routed theres?
Another question, my shift doesn't seem to be all the way back to the stock Z shifter hole, yet the engine is set back as far as possible, any remedies?
Thanks.

When I disassembled the engine, the piston came out with zero resistance, the skirts were broken on both sides. Rings were kaput too.

I'm having trouble at low rpm and high boost. Lots of shuddering. Pretty nasty feeling. Feels like it's misfiring. Double checked and redid my flow calculations and I should not be surging, or even close to surging. Not sure what's going on. Spark blowout?
Bedded and tried out the new pads. Seems to bite a lot better.
Painted the VG33 block. Need pistons.
When I had a broken piston, it would shudder at lower rpms.
I drove the piss out of that thing even after breaking said piston. It actually ran pretty good at WOT..

Man, going to a six cylinder will be a real nice upgrade.

Chevy 350.

Bad.
Ass.

I would easily pay this price for a bolt on kit.
-
what shop is it at? I am getting a game plan together
My dads garage . It's really not that bad. The hardest part was figuring out bolt sizes and such. The JTR manual is awful, don't waste your money on it.

I'm in the process of putting an LT1 into a 240z (It's in there, now theres wiring and driveshaft stuff) if you need a little guidance.
-
Go for it.

Seems like a lot of work for not a lot of gain.

I decided on a N42 head (ports are gasket matched) on a N42 block with '75 intake and K&N induction, flattop pistons, .485/.270 reground OEM cam with Isky springs, triple grind valves and new Nissan rockers, Pacesetter 6-3-2 ceramic coated header, into a 2.5" MSA exhaust, all on stock EFI. .
Interested to see how this works out..
