  3. i had built this to show mostly , but it was designed for aotocross so that is why it is shaved with no side glass. it will be a specialty use car only.
  4. here is a 9 second link (hopefully) to a bit of a burn out i did in my cobra Z coupe today. a few of you have asked for a video so this will be my first attempt

  9. here are todays pics of the dash and console paint and install in the 74 Z
  10. the dash started off life as a john washington velarossa fiberglass dash. we then added a custom aluminum gauge plate insert . painted and cleared it as well. i have pics of the dash and console in the paint booth. i will post one later tonight if you want to see also.... DAERON thank you for your support . even though it might not be your choice of a styled kit. i appreciate that you see the work that went into it. so many people trash projects like this if it isnt what they would have done . they cant just appreciate all the time and effort that went into it and say anything nice. my 2 cents worth..........if we all made our cars look the same it would get to be a pretty boring world.i have a stock 72 Z that i love . it has won 1st place awards twice at MSA. so it only seems right to mix it up with a few after all these years
  11. quater panels are cut and removed . that new panel is a fiberglass panel to replace the original quarter so the 315/35/17 tires and 11 inch wide wheels will fit under easily
  12. thanks guys , glad you like it. it was a 9 month project if you want to see engine and drivetrain pics you can take a peek at my photobucket album www.photobucket.com and just search for coyotegary
  13. its almost complete.....a windshield install and a few bits and it will be all wrapped up
  14. glad you like it.... Hablomos....you wont find these quarterpanels out there anywhere unfortunately...they were custom one offs. we started with a rear tub assembly from the rear half of the Velarossa kit. we then proceeded to cut it up intp 4 sections and redesign it to fit the 315/35/17 tires that were installed on the 11 inch wide rear wheels. eliminated the cut outs in those quarters and dropped them 6 inches to hug the tires. then after they looked like what we wanted we refiberglassed the entire panels. we also shortened the rear panel 7 inches to to keep it the stock Z length. i am wishing now that we would have made a mold of them before we painted it...lol
  15. thanks guys. i am glad you like the finished combination of different cars molded together. it has been a long and at times painful road...lol as far as the interior....it is finished. it will be a specialty purpose car so opted to strip the interior down to bare bones. zolatone and clearcoat undercarrage and total interior. a new pair of 350Z track model seats and a roll cage. i gutted the doors and shaved everything we could. no side glass or quarter glass . we even shaved the drip rails , door tops and quarter glasss openings. added a fuel cell and located the battery box in the rear floor flush.installed a fiberglass dash and custom harness for thr entire car. hand made an aluminum console to flow into the dash i will have to post pics on photobucket when its all said and done to show tyhe project along the way from day one. i have thousands of pics
  16. i snapped a couple more pics today after we installed the doors and hood. still a few more things to make it complete , but its coming along
  17. check out my album at www.photobucket.com and search coyotegary to see the cobra wheels on the car. the silver stripe matches the wheels spokes color also the drivetrain pics are there
  18. jet black paint and the silver matches the silver spokes in the cobra wheels 275's on the front and 315's on 11 wide wheels rear
  19. here are the latest pics of the Z being painted ...still in the booth
  20. i forgot that i had loaded a bunch of pics of the newest project on my photobucket album. it shows it completed but in black primer quite a few to see what all bodywork was done photobucket then just search for coyotegary
