my freakin window crank broke today..drivers side of course. so i pick up the victoria british catalog and decided to call them..out of buisness. now i need to find a new window crank. i have the cream/beige interior. please help. i dont really feel like goin to the stealership but i just may have too.

im spefically looking for a 510 only forum, but other datsun forums that also cover 510's will also be gladly appreciated. i already know of the 510 realm. just looking for some others that i havent found.

idk, i just dont want the R compound or softer rubber that will wear down every 1000 miles. the only reason im kinda having a tough time with is the 15's. one wheel im lookin a only comes in 14 and 15. but it will still be a while...so idk. not lookin for a 17 or 18.

im kinda mad that i cant find any tires with good sidewalls that will fit a 10-12 inch wide wheel. only brand i know of that makes them wide is Advan but they are truck tires and have a 60 or 70 side wall which is way to big for how wide i want them to be. i need a 265/50/15 or a 265/45/16 thats not a comp tire and can be good for the street.

i think you will like it. my bro had one for a couple of years. really a good car. he had about 120k on his and it ran good. t tops are always a good option, great for cruising in the summer. other than that it looks good. but the red interior ,has to go!

yea i know all about the potential of SR's. been in the SX "scene" for the past 2 years. yea the laguna blue is a nice color, but im shooting for the e46 Mystic blue metallic and gonna darken it up a little. edit : chopped up my Z real quick cant decide on black or silver rear panel

ty, this is the sexiest Z ive ever seen tho, its like my inspiration to build a Z rather a 240sx at the moment. hoping i can have a clean *** RB26'd Z by next summer. i'd hate to make a clone, but im basically shooting for what his looks like but M3 blue and different wheels...

the SX wheels arent 15x7 they are 15x6 +40. all 89-98 (s13-s14) 4 lug alloy wheels were 15x6. the 5lug alloy SE wheels on 95-98 (s14) are only 16x6.5 +40....plus i think the SX wheels would look horrid on an S30....

i hope you are not refering to aftermarket wheels..stock wheels yes they are high. its a 6" +40 for the stock alloys. it would fit but it wouldnt look that great, sunk like a battleship. but a S13 ( 89-94 ) you can fit 9's on the back with about a +5-10 with a little bit of fender rolling and a little camber and obviously with some blistered fenders you can fit a much wider wheel. and S14's ( 95-98 )you can fit 10's easily no problem. 11's need a pretty low offset and some rolling with camber. its all about the correct offset when it comes to width. but 240sx's arent civic's, 17x7 +40 wheels are highly looked down upon in the 240 world. most people will tell you 8" or higher in the back. and 7.5-9.5 for the front. depending on s13 or s14. and offests below 30 are recommended.

i dont need slicks lol. i just need a street tire. im probably gonna get the Dunlop SP sport 8000 245/50/15. then something similar up front.

yea, i havent really looked for the 265-275 because i wanted a little stretch in the back to make it fit a little better. but i will go look for some 265's, the 225 for the fronts is no problem to find..just the rears, thanks for the help!

ok wheels i will be getting..15x8.5 -2 and 15x10 -7 SSR Formula Mesh. from the measurements i took, should fit in the stock fenders hella flush...only problem i have is, TIRES! Either i havent searched long enough, but i cant seem to find tires in the 235-245/50/15 sizes for the rears. can anyone PLEASE help me out. i know they have to make them, i dont want to have to cancel my plans just because of tires

gonna introduce my self i guess..i have a 78 280z..i was recently trying to sell my z but, ive decided to keep it about another year and see then what i want to do. im 17 this is my first car , bought it off a family friend. right now it has ~71,700 origional miles on it bought it with 69,455 ive had it for the past 6 months and really enjoyed it. for the summer, im planning on a new clutch (stocker is goin), tokico shocks and springs, SSR mesh wheels, 3" header+exhaust strait pipes, and havent decided on 240/260 front rear bumper and a lip, or a whole fiberglass bumper. and heres some pics.
