  1. would like both sides, no rust or dents. I' just south of Baltimore in md if you're local. If not that's fine too. Thanks guys
  2. Took the lock collars off the rears today in an attemp to sit closer to even. Not too bad but still want to get it lower. Also got two of the four xxrs painted again, just sand paper and krylon. Other than that, I've started pulling all the faded red plastics out of the inside. Not quite sure what the end goal is with that, but stripped looks better than cracked faded junk. Throwing a really awesome front bumper idea around with a buddy that does really good fiberglass work. We have also been kicking the idea of a fiberglass dash around so ill keep everyone posted on that too.
  3. Had to raise it up a bit in the front and adjust the camber a bit, but I got the xxr 527's back on there with 1" spacers. Had to roll all 4 fenders hammer style so I didn't rub. The rears however have 1.25" of spacer on them. All in all I think it came out well and driveable. Hahaha
  4. And new headlights today. The cheap ones I got with halos were going to get me killed. Went with Sylvania $25 each ones. Not sure the type but they were the brightest ones. Put them in and I can see again!
  5. I lied. It'd not the best picture though.
  6. I forgot to take a picture of the coils but I did get this one. Dumped the back out so its more even with the front and 1" spacers all around. No more rub up front and I think it looks pretty damn good. Hahaha
  7. The tire rubs one of the coils, but I still have my 1" spacers I might throw on. I did get bored and curious today so I put this guy back on. Not sure if I want to keep it on again but we will see.
  8. Yea, I measured it yesterday. Stock wheels are 14x6 +12 making them 4" backspace. Mine have some beefy 205's on them I think and even with a 1/4" spacer up front they still rub tire. But with some tire stretch and a 1/4" spacer the Rota rbs should fit fine. The only issue now is that racinglab.com has the 17x9.5's on back order for about a month. I want to start looking around but I want to find something with a deep lip at a similar price. No more group buy prices on the rotas so its $1028 shipped now... Know any other brands to start looking at?
  9. Just so I'm clear, stock wheels are 14x6 +12 right? Making the backspacing 4". How are people fitting rota rbs that have 4.5" on s13 coilovers? I haven't measured so idk how much wider my tire makes things but if anyone has some insight I would appreciate it. I plan on taking some measurements tomorrow.
  10. So, I'm not trying to be fancy but because of the light that's the only filter you can see everything the best.
  11. Yea, all that stuff was there, ill have to see how much it would cost me and decide if I have that to spare right now. More sensor problems, my coolant temp sensor is on the fritz. $27 from AutoZone though so shouldn't be too bad.
  12. It's bouncy right now but its all tire flex. The ones I have on the stock wheels are big and old. What all do people usually need off a turbo car? I know manifold, dizzy, ecu. Anything else worth grabbing? If its still there Monday I will consider it. Pulling all that stuff is going to take some time.
  13. I did. I have about 1.5" I can still come down in the rear without taking collars off. I used the stock top hats as opposed to drilling holes so that alone gives me an extra 2" of height as opposed to the ones on the coils. Just got the fronts on yesterday and they are totally slammed out, still have all the collars on them too and my front fenders are 22" from the ground. The rears settled a bit more so I'm 23.75" each rear and last night I was 22" fronts. All the vitals still have about a three finger gap from the road too. (Oil pan, frame, stuff like that.) Had to run 1/4" spacers up front to get the tires to spin. It looks good, so I will take some pictures asap. I'm waiting on ordering my wheels for now. Gotta make sure I get the right backspacing or spacers. I am leaning towards Rota rbs pretty hard right now. Side note, there is a turbo zx at the junk yard and it is kinda hard not to go pull all the turbo parts and get sidetracked on my build. If anyone needs turbo stuff, it looked all there. Oh, and my exhaust scrapes everywhere... Hahaha the header doesn't run perfectly even with the frame, it comes down a bit so ill either hope to catch it on a speed bump and bend it up, or go out with a hammer or something to prevent myself from scraping a hole in it.
  14. Got my rear coilovers in today. Woot! Fronts in tomorrow hopefully. I really hope these settle a little bit more because I'm still at 24.5" from fender to ground.
  15. I recently ordered these from motorsport but after I installed them I found the car to be missing hard at wot and high rpm. Any idea what would cause it? Everything was on the distributor and the wires correctly and when I switched back to my old ngks everything was fine again.
  16. Finally found the link I was looking for sorry. Please delete this
  17. Good news, my car didn't blow up! Also good news it was just the $34 sensor and not anything major. Also, I finished piping out the exhaust. Headers to Subaru resonator, to msa 2.5" kit. I had to use the piece they expected you to use off the cat in place of the muffler to get everything to line up. sounds pretty nice, I like it. In other news, my coilovers are in the shop getting the selves welded on. New front rotors will be put on, low dust ceramic pads all the way around. Sold my xxrs today. I am going to go with Rota rb 17x9.5 all the way around. Going to test fit and decide if I need to stretch tires or not. I'm going to go same size tire all the way around so I can rotate.
  18. Hahaha It was the pressure switch! So happy it was something simple and cheap. Thanks again everyone for the advice.
  19. Thanks for all the insight guys, its really appreciated. I was freaking out a bit on the way up and shutting the engine off when it dipped like that on the ride up.
  20. Yea, the more people I talk to and the more I mess with it, it seems to be the sensor. I'm just going to order a new one and replace it before I do any unnecessary driving and see what happens from there.
  21. If it is something like a clogged pickup or something of that nature, would running something through like seafoam help with that, or does it need to be taken apart? I've never used that stuff but a friend of mine said it was used to clean out engines and works really well. I have always been hesitant to add anything like that to my car.
  22. When I get home my first plan is to change the oil and see how it looks.
  23. Thanks for the quick reply John. Engine temp was fine the whole ride up, no stuttering or hesitation in the engine. Are there any other things I should be looking or listening for on my drive back?
