sorry but i think the anime series suck big time. I love the S30 though don't get me wrong. I watched the first episode on youtube.com and never made to the second episode. Story line is so fake and retarded I think. I hope i don't get flame by some fans out there just my 2 cent.

damn... I would love to see Garrett76Zt and SR240Z Zs go at it on the 1/4mile. I think its a pretty good match. Garrett 460hp Z and SR240Z 500hp Z on the next Pinks!!! I'm not trying to start anything... just had it in mind thats all.

I'm on a budget thats why...metal headgasket...how thick? Oh and also, what kind of downpipe are you guys running. Can I use aftermarket downpipes that were made for the S13?

after debating for while... I've decided to go with a SR20DET. I've already begun taking it apart(Not the LongBlock). I'll be putting on a T3/T4 Hybrid turbo, aftermarket exhaust mani, intake mani, 550cc injectors, and probably running a piggy back system(any recommendation). The camshaft has already been regrind or atleast I think it is. I'm also running a 24x12x3 front mount IC with 3in exhaust all the way back from the downpipe. I'm going to be boosting somewhere in the neighborhood of 15lbs too. Where would that put me in the horsepower range? I'm going to be using it for auto-x, drift, and drag.

sorry guys but I've been searching for 30min and no luck. I don't have my Z where I'm at so I can't measure the demension where the intercooler will be placed. So my question is what is the size of the intercooler on your Z. I'm going SR so I'm just looking for an intercooler. Oh and can I use a 240SX radiator(probably easier I think) since I'm going SR. Oh and will there be any problem with the driveshaft. In my 510 when I swapped in a KA... I had to shorten the driveshaft. Will it be the same with the SR20DET in the 240Z?

check your stock wastegate... i think thats wat it was. The same exact thing happened to me.

anybody have this ECU on their Z? I'm curious of what it has to offer and how much horsepower I can get out of this thing. I don't really want to get a fuel management. I'm not looking to get seriouse hp anyways. I've searched but it seems people in this forum have not covered it yet. I don't know why MSA won't go into detal with their own products!

I just bought a donor car(83 ZXT) and everything was boost good until suddenly it won't let me anymore. As soon as you start hearing it spool... there would be a vacuum leak or fuel cutoff. This is my first turbo car so I don't really know much about it yet. On the boost gauge, it'll not let me go pass 0. As soon as it goes over just alittle, the ZXT chokes. help me please.

I want everybodys opinion on something I've been deciding for a week after I got my 73 240Z. I'm really interested because I'm calling this my last project so I'm just curious to know what good to start my project off. I'm barley turn 20 but I've kinda made up my mind that this well be my last since I really want a house in a few years. Still debating L28ET or RB26DETT also when the time comes. I might regret if I go with the L28ET thats why. But the motorswap is not even going to take place because I'm going the suspension route first I think. I wasn't as happy when I went with power on my 510 to when I went suspension on my 240SX first. A car that can go fast in corner is better than a car that can go fast in a straight line(Just me so don't get offended). I am lazy so don't bother calling me lazy. Because I only search for a minute. Did manage to buy to buy some badass wheels though. Can't show the forums yet because it's a secret! This is the first year the wheels are made and wheel be the last. It was just made to test out peoples interest. Oh and its a company that is not popular at all so if you like brands...you definately don't want it anysways. Oh and just bought some Tokico 5way Adjustables. So I am leaning towards suspension at this point. Not even 8 days with the car I'm starting with the project alreay. I know it my car and I can do whatever I want but I just need some of your thoughts.

haha...yeah I know. The folks on the forums seems really cool thats why I registered here. Been looking at this site for quite sometimes now but never had a Z so never joined up. Even thought I didn't have a Z back than, I would still come check out the site and dream what I would do if I had one. The folks here are pretty cool. I'll keep you guys updated with the project. I want my Z to look exactly like this yellow one except it'll be red. Don't want the BRE Air Dam no more...not aggresive enough.

LS1 is a very good motor but I'm going to keep it Nissan all the way. L28ET? or RB26DETT???. If I really want to I can buy a LS2 right now for $4000 but I don't really like mix-breed. I'm going to take this project on very slow. I want to do everything one at a time and once only(Budget Issue). This is going to be my last project...I think(I'm only 20yrs old though).

I don't know if I should even touch it because almost everything is original. But eventually I will... ZG Flares, BRE Air Dam, BRE Spoiler, and Fender Mirrors. As for the wheels, I'm really undecided. Suspension and brake are a must. On the suspension setup... I'm not sure which setup would be best suited for me(Streetable and okay on corners and highways).I might even put in a roll cage... Power can come later on this project. Oh and how hard is it to change an auto to a Manual in a Z? I'll do some search but I was just wandering at this moment.

After a few years of looking for a clean Z... I finally got one. A 1971 240Z. I had to trade my Datsun 510 w/ KA24DE for it. I can't drive this thing but I will eventually(transmission and carb problem?).
