It is easy to wire up there are 4 connections on the coils. Here is the pin-out for the ls1 coil. http://www.megamanual.com/seq/ls1_coil_schematic.gif The two center pins connect to the haltech while the two the outside pins are engine ground and switch 12v+

I have 8 ls1 coilpacks with pigtails im trying to part with if you are interested.

I'm installing one right now...its not easy and requires quite a bit of splicing to make everything work but the harness is very well labeled so as long as you can figure out what goes where you should be able to figure it out.

That pump wont put out enough pressure to drive your injectors...in short it wont work. You need an EFI rated fuel pump.

Check your grounds...if you have a jumper cable jumper the ground terminal on the battery to the engine block and see if turns over.

From what I understand about low-z injectors is that you HAVE to use PWM otherwise you can fry things on your board due to over current.

You are very correct not sure how I missed that...however I still dont have my MS unit completed to be able to test them...

Heya Paul, i have seen that the only thing is he is using his tec3 to contol the coils, I dont have my MS unit built yet to do be able to do that so I'm wondering if there is a "low tech" method of firing the coils until I can finish my MS unit. Thanks

Hi, I'm in the final stages of assembling my megasquirt v3 with the MS2 cpu. I have the LS1 coils and I'm going to be running wasted spark. I've seen several bits of conflicting information on wither they are 5v pull up or fire from ground. Is there an easy way to test the coils before I finish the megasquirt assembly? My dad has several scopes and I can borrow one if need be. Thanks Morgan
