  1. Ok, so we completed the "speaker panels" and I've gotta say it was a different animal for sure. Here are a few pics, what do you guys think? FYI I turned the flash off in the last pic to show more detail
  2. Clive, I don't imagine it will be a problem to get that done, although the first panel we covered last night took us about an hour ... talk about crazy! then of course the second panel was done in about 15-20 mins. GO FIGURE! So I'm sure the first panel is gonna be a bear and the second one will be a breeze, I'll drop you a PM and post pics when its all done. Pete
  3. I also think it would be pretty stealth if the rear sections we're covered, so much for the trouble of upholstery. Are those pieces universal or completely different animals for every year?
  4. Clive, Raw right now, but we're gonna spend some time tonight covering a set. Pete
  5. These are fiberglass panels with carbon vinyl overlay, this stuff is bullet proof! very durable and looks awesome in my opinion. I created these for a client who n turn had a tad bit of engine trouble, so his money has to go towards sorting that out instead of interior. I also have two additional sets of factory door panels and 1 set of the "Speaker Panels" Let me know, Pete
  6. Guys, I'm always making panels, if your truly interested in a set drop me a PM, let me know your address for a shipping quote and I'll get them out as soon as possible. Im going to be laying up a set of speaker panels and a factory panel this weekend, I also still have that one set of carbon panels that the painter screwed up a while ago. I would treat them like fiberglass panels and simply cover them... theyre perfectly fine. Pete
  7. Yes and no, pending further conversations.
  8. Been to all the major players websites (Z car source.. forgot the others name) but no one can or doesnt have the material in bulk. I got a guy that wants a set of panels covered with the inner panel covered in daimond plate vinyl and the rest in flat black vinyl... any leads would help Paul
  9. No progress on the 2+2 still have em in a holding pattern though
  10. Socorob, The factory panel will work with all the existing hardware, window crank , door latch handle etc. The "Speaker" panels do in fact require the use of a power window set up.
  11. PredatorZ, Thank you! I really appreciate the positive vibe your sending my way.
  12. Nacitar, Glad your happy with the work, Its always nice to get good feedback - and bad feedback so I can fix any problems that might come up. Funny about the pokes and prods ... I seem to be immune to such annoyances, or maybe I simply learned my lesson very early on that gloves are indeed a necessity when handling bare fiberglass as the edges can cut the cracker jacks out of you.
  13. Hey guys! I havent been around for a while... been busy being a lazy freaking dog and loved every minute of it. Im still making panels and have three sets that I laid up this weekend, all of which are the speaker style panels. If interested drop me a line at my email probinson_2000@yahoo I can have them trimmed and shipped today for interested parties. Pete... and Paul
  14. Door panels are still being made, only now it may take a lil bit longer to get em ... maybe. I ran into some health problems ... (more like health problems ran into me ) so while Im on the mend my bro has been cranking em out.... More less. In any even we still got em if you need them. P and P
  15. Has anyone been in contact with Pete? I purchased fiberglass door panels with his arm rest and shipped him 1000.00 worth of leather to use to cover the panels and have never heard back from him and I have left several messages?

  16. Ehhhhhh those look like motorcycle mirrors, you can get a set very similar for prpbably under 60 bucks
  17. These are for one of the members here, he elected to go with real leather. Im also working on gettting the inlay done for the center door panel,... more than anything Im wating on the freaking door pins, they keep sending me the wrong ones. First pic is original handle Second pic is raw leather ...NICE!!! Third, fourht and fifth pics are templates for cuts and final pieces Rest of the pics are final product, but these are not the final door panels they'll live on.
  18. UMMMMMM, Sooooo why is the steering wheel mounted in reverse?
  19. You have to trim about 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch off the rear of the panels near the back edge of the door. I think I have some pics but Im not totally sure. If I find em I'll load em.
  20. Sorry my inbox was full, Im still here!
  21. PLEASE MAKE STUFF.

Your work kicks ass, now that it's summer and I can work full time, I can work some good hours and buy some of your parts. I've been dreaming about those carbon fiber door pulls for my project.

  22. These switches are part of a complete re-wire, not for the faint of heart but a definate improvement. OH, and there dual illumination, when the running lights are on the symbol lights up and when the switch is activated the light bar is illuminated. Not cheap, but again, an improvement in my opinion.
  23. Ehhhh six on way half dozen the other, making the mold is gonna be pretty involved. Save the money and start from a good factory dash... and use lots of mold release.
  24. Yes sir! that looks like what I need. I have been looking high and low for this thing, in the junk yards, parts cars, friends cars, internet etc etc and I could not find one. Of course not having a part number didnt help any. Thank you a million times over.
