LOL! Thanks Bleach. This thread will have still have pics after the auctions is over
I bet it would get more attention if you drove with a Storm Trooper suit on (like the Lotus Elise)

WILDEST-CUSTOM-Z-ON-THE-PLANENT
15x14" rims out back! Kind of reminds me of the Primadonna Z.
[Edit: Yeah, I didn't see that other one!]

I'm amazed! I wish I would have thought of this...I hear Boeing might buy the rights
I want to put these in my Z instead of rzeppa or tripod joints...

Hey Bo, I've been wondering how you're doing! Good to see you're still active.
I totally appreciate the information. To be honest, I didn't have time to get the device made or configured in time for DEQ emissions testing.
But I still passed on the 2nd try! I failed the Hydrocarbons on the 1st attempt (1.0137% instead of 1 %). I adjusted the AFR's (by modifying the injection opening time, while waiting in line) to 16.5-17.0 at idle...whew!
I didn't even consider using external trims for timing or boost. That's pretty cool about the multi-controller trims for methanol injection. You're still way ahead of me Bo

Will the stock bolts go in all the way? Maybe the ARP ones have an incorrect thread pitch...

Hi Wolf Gurus,
I want to make sure I pass DEQ before Friday
RTz mentioned there may be (or is) a way to do this on the V500. I looked through the help and I couldn't find anything explicitly on this.
I figure I'd use some 5V source and a potentiometer...
Do I use the "Special Trim" fuel modifier and Aux Input LS1? If so, I'd probably have to do some work in both the calibration tables...
Has anyone done this yet?
Thanks for any help or advise...
Cheers, -Hugh

Mine are "S130 ZT" there weren't enough characters to have "S130 ZXT"
-
Well, I haven't been doing much of anything on the ZXT lately. Here are some pics of the R200 KAAZ LSD carrier and Nissan Competition (Eurospec?) Z31 finnded diff cover:
The diff cover already has provisions for an oil cooler...I may go that route someday

Bump the dust off!

Ahhh...you didn't get Buckingham fountain (the one in the Married with Children intro)
Uno's is pretty good to eat, but not as good as the Upside-down pizza (same building as the St. Valentine's day massacre) or Gino's. Damn, I'm hungry now, lol.

Ha! They were using Autodesk Inventor software to design the CAD model (I'm a QA Engineer for the Simulation apps)

Never thought I'd see a seven-cylinder z Very cool.

Hi Calgary, I got my configurations from Ron and KTM.
The cylinder head (or coolant) temp sensor will know it's colder now. The engine temp enrichment is 0% at 80*C but 20% at 10*C. The air temp modifier is only +/- 5% max.
At most it should only be 25% enrichment @ 10*C.
I have 460cc/min injectors and the starting squirt time is 7ms.
Here are my starting rate fuel trims (in case yours are different)
Hope this helps...

I thought that was a BB movie. Put that on your z and it will drown!

^^ That's why he said it's a one-of-a-kind. The ONLY 1978 260Z in existence...in the states

Nice! Good to see another S130 owner on here!
What part of Oregon are you located?
-
Sean, you're ingenious!
-
^^ I'll agree with that
-
So now it comes out...you have magnetically Light nuts, haha! (j/k)
-
Yeah, the Siskyous (sp?) pass is always treacherous in the winter. But You can always fly over them, right?
-
Luckily, we don't have snow in PDX yet...
I know what you're saying though, it is damn cold now. I'm thinking of firing up the 'ol furnace today.
You know it is cold in the house, when you need a beer cozy to keep your hand from getting too cold, instead of worrying about keeping the beer cold, hehe!

I bet Dr. Rich is ecstatic! Nice work BRAAP and RTz!
Did you guys to the "happy dance" for Rich, or did he do that part?
