  1.

And where can I find that HI/LOW relay at? I'm sure there's a write up on that somewhere here? Looks like I'll def be ordering that Hi current headlight wiring upgrade now. ;) I could do without the driving/fog lights also. Those were just a thought. I def like those Dapperlighting headlights. Seem nice and clear bright. Still a bit pricey thou. Still looking into them yet.

They sell the high/low relay on ebay or MSA or Black Dragon. Just search something like H4 Halogen relay. (Make sure it's for halogen/sealed beam).

The Dapper Lighting kit comes wired for HID relays. We also have a 55W kit if you want... REALLY bright :2thumbs:

Let me know if you have any questions.

  2. The dapper hids are ridiculously amazing, i honestly wouldnt own another z/zx (or car with 7" rounds) without them, they not only look great, they work amazingly, never had any issues with mine that i got almost 2 years ago and been daily driving the car since.

We love to hear this! :2thumbs:

  3. Too reliable... I drive my s130 less than a few hundred miles a year and it runs like a champ every time. (Completely stock)

My 911 on the other hand... don't drive it often enough and it's problem after problem...

  4. Ahh, I thought you had gotten some 7" Led headlights such as THESE.

I'd really like to see something like this on a Z <_<

$500+ for those and the light output isn't that impressive. I attached a PDF with some info. There is a better LED kit option out there but it's all pretty pricey.

  5. We are back at it again and developing a 5 3/4" projector set. Does anyone have access to a vehicle with the smaller 4 headlight systems (ie 510). Would a 5 3/4" x 5" light have room to clear in the back?

We will setup the group buy once we get some sets in.

  6. Hey guys,

I recently took a job with the Pittsburgh Pirates for the next year. This means I will be, for the most part, away from the forums, sales calls, tech support. Dapper Lighting will continue to be run by a few employees.

I know as summer comes around, some of you guys will be installing your lights and might have some questions. I suggest you post them onto the forum, check out http://www.dapperlighting.com/installation.html and check out the install guide one of your fellow members put together.

If you are still having problems or any questions, you can always email me at Ben@dapperlighting.com and I will do my best to respond in a timely matter.

    Thanks,

    Ben

  7. I like those headlights I know I've seen them before, I also ran into some other kind but I can't seem to find them on my bookmarks as I thought I had saved them. There also the ones you can find on hot rod magazines for a good price. Just wondering if $370 bucks is really worth it when you can probably make your own for less then half of that.Or you can get these i know most of you seen these. If your willing to spend $400 with shipping, personally i don't like these but what the heck. The whole kit you get.post-5080-099518200 1299963430_thumb.jpgwhat they look like on a S130post-5080-033188200 1299963444_thumb.jpgpost-5080-070865300 1299963712_thumb.jpgpost-5080-070795500 1299963723_thumb.jpgLooks to have good visibilitypost-5080-034255200 1299963458_thumb.jpgChoice of bulb color/temperaturepost-5080-012830400 1299963930_thumb.jpgThese are sold on Ebay not sure of any other website offering these. Maybe with some headlight covers they look better or painted but i personally would not get these, its just a matter of personal preference.

I manufacture the black projector sets (that's my s130 lol). They are dramatically brighter than stock headlights. PM me if you guys want hybridz pricing.

That isn't a projector. That is the back of the headlight.

Is that an optical illusion?? lol it looks like the front of a black projector for some reason... My mistake.

  8. What you think is a 'projector' is merely the shade cap on the H4 capsule in the reflector.

Personally, I pull them out as it interferes with light transfer by about 30%. You do get the 'dazzle' bright spot in the center of the lens afterwards, but on E-Codes with their defined cutoff it's only really an issue on high-beam. And then there shouldn't be oncoming traffic to bother!

I'm talking about the black headlight in the last picture.
