I've been working on my project for over 8 years. I call it my 351Z. I fabricated a crossmember under the neck of the oil pan and installed the mounts on this. It has a t5 also. I drove it for the first time about a Month ago. I also couldn't find headers, so I refabricated the left side of a pair of shorty Flowtech. The Ga. Piddler

I'm wiring up the harness. the z alternator has a big r/w wire for BAT. Another Black to E and two other small wiers plugged into F. What are the two other small wires for? Do they get tied together on the new F

Will the front hubs, rotors, and brake calipers and such from a 300zx fit my 260z without much trouble.

I have a 351 windsor in my project. It is not easy. I realized that to get the engin low enough and back far enough that I had to hamer the fire wall in just a little in the right places. now the oil pan just misses the cross member and the firewall. This put the engin verry low which I think will inhanse the handleing, once I finish. I fabed the mounts after I had the engin placed where I wanted. The engin is in place, but I'm saving to build it. I've been piddling with this 260z for over two years and it looks like it will be another two years before its ready.

Can anyone tell me for sure which flywheel I need. My 351 came out of a 1976 merqury. I have a T5 transmition and belhousing from a 1996 Mustang. I've been told i need a 157 teeth flywheel with 28 oz. weight balance. Will the flywheel for a 302 fit the 351?

here is mine this works well. I used a steel post fastened to a chanel iron conected to the bumper suports, This is just a little larger than the suport post. You just jack the car up and dril a hole for a pin at any hight. This is simple and time consuming, but all it cost was some time and scrap metal. I later put some casters on this. You can check out my album and see mine fliped.

I've pulled them out to touch up the engin compartment. when i learn more about this page I plan to have pictures. any help will be apreciated.
