  1. This car does not currently belong to me. I'm simply helping my friend with the listing. I did, however, own the shell for five years. See below for more on that. Contact the owner Paul (details at bottom of post) for more info on this sale.

For sale - a '73 240z that was an early build on Hybridz.org. This car was originally built/modified by Tim240z on Hybridz. The car originally had an LT1 and T56, installed with the JTR kit. It had full length headers and one of the first documented Q45 diff swaps.

Some info on the original work can be found here: http://tim240z.iwarp.com/index.html

The car sold to a gentleman in North Carolina in the mid 2000's minus the rear suspension and drivetrain. I bought the shell in July of 2010. My intent was to put it back together similar to what it was before. I got an LT1 from a local guy and bought a Q45 swap. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to really work on this car. It sat in my garage for 5 years, mostly untouched.

A friend of mine, Paul, had a V8 240z that got totalled by a county truck driver. He wanted an 240z to work on, but was having a hard time finding a replacement. He remembered my shell and convinced me to sell it to him. I had a few too many projects anyway, so it was best to sell to someone like Paul who would take care of it.

Paul turned the rolling shell into what's in the pics in the photo album here: https://goo.gl/photos/k2umgWcb24314roL9

  2. I'm willing to ship, but need to break them down. They have springs and cartridges now. I'll try to pull the spindle pins to make them easier to box/crate. I can do that this weekend. We can talk price in PM and I can send pics in the next couple of days.

  3. I'm considering selling a set of 16x7 panasports with new yokohama 225/50-16 yokohama s-drives (less than 20 miles on them).

Here's the only pic I have right now: https://goo.gl/photos/wxLmLk9gszgN7kw97

I'd let the panasports with tires go for $1300 + shipping.

I also have a set of 16x7 Centerline Billet Star wheels with 245/45-16's (don't recall the brand). These could use some clean up/polishing and require a spacer on the front. They clear fine on the back.

    Here's a pic of those wheels/tires : https://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/-s8hsz4g1BcyVo8XqfT5b9MTjNZETYmyPJy0liipFm0?feat=directlink

I'd let the Centerlines with tires go for $600 + shipping.

    PM me if interested.

  4. Also I believe you are suppose to bleed from the outside in when it comes to the 2 bleeders on top. Also start with the caliper furthest from the master ( right rear).

Since the S30 brake lines run on the passenger side of the transmission tunnel, the left rear caliper is technically further away from the master in terms of brake line length than the passenger side is. I generally start with the left rear for that reason.

  5. OP has a Camaro Radiator, JTR mounting kit, and T-bird fan based on the cooling section of the JTR manual. The JTR manual is a great read for anyone doing V8 swaps. JTR no longer sells those radiator mounts, nor do they recore those radiators. Apparently, the influx of aluminum radiators from Champion and others has made sales drop for the camaro/t-bird setup to the point where it's no longer worth it for JTR to bother stocking the parts.

The Champion setup (three or four row) with proper shroud and dual fans most likely cools better anyways.

  6. I'm looking for a pair of Ground Control coilover sleeves for the rear of a 280z. I don't need anything but a pair of the sleeves themselves and specifically am looking for Ground Control. Kind of a long shot, but hoping someone has these.

I had ordered a set of 2.17" inner diamater sleeves from A1 racing ( http://shop.a1racing.com/cok12452-h.aspx ), but these will not fit on my 280 struts.
