Hey Alex: We are running 14lbs Bosch we picked up off Ebay form a Rebuilder, we sent him 2 sets of Toyota cores and he sent us a set of standard Bosch 14mm o-rings on both ends! Forgive me I do not remember his Company name! We wanted to try and duplicate a set-up like our Customers would! I believe he advertised $14 and injector to be rebuilt and Flowed! While this is not as good as New, it is real world circumstances! Below is a RB26DETT Project we've worked on! Note: The Injectors can be Mounted over or Under the ITB's, this would also facilitate Staged Injection on those Real Huge Hp Monster Motors, helping driveability on the Street!! Stock Injectors or smaller in stock location helps Emmissions, "Ugly Word" torque, throttle Responce down low! And the injectors in the Extrudabody ITB's come to supplement the Motors Needs. The Additional Distance helps with High Hp with more time for Fuel Emulsification! It Bolts to the Stock Manifold! and uses a 2 Piece Plenum! As 240Hoke pointed out it can be modified to take the Bolts out of the Horns with some Horn Modifications! This type of Innovation is what we incourage! Kevin

Those Lexus ITB's are EFi Hardware from Aussie land I believe! Good Stuff in My opinion! The Tuner/installer needs lots more Accelleration enrichment in the Lower MAP Range to get rid of the BOG when they first hit them under WOT! I have seen EFi Hardware before, that's why we are not Blue! CASTING ALUMINUM: Guys anytime you cast Aluminum if it is a Intriquit part it is usually investment cast! This means that a $50k to $100K injection Mold is built, and then Wax is Injected into the mold, out comes a Part that looks like the intended ALUMINUM part! The Wax Parts are then placed in a Circle and Casting Sand/Clay is then Pack around the Wax parts, The molten Aluminum is then poured into the Spru, the Molten aluminum melts and replaces the wax, what comes out is a Raw Part that has to be Machined! Extrudabody does away with these expensive steps and goes from raw extrusion directly to the Machine process! Positives: Cheaper to build, Quality is higher due to tighter tolerance on Dimensions, can be anodized, 10 times easier to polish, and more customizable! The Negatives: Sometimes no matter how hard we try we just can not be made to fit a certain Application! Kevin

Well we are looking at a Diret to head fitment for the Ford and the Hemi Motors as they have Vertical Ports and they lend themselves to a easier adaptation of our system! You may want to check around caus I seem to remember some other Company building a X ram manifold for that Motor! Seems like I saw one at the PRI show in Orlando! Kevin

Hey Joel Will Do! By the Way I use to Work for Amerisafe in Deridder! LOL! Use to hunt Duck in Holly Beach too! LOL! Kevin

We are starting with 45mm then 40mm and then going to 50mm! Honestly I am not exactly sure what size they are? Sorry! Our SU Base plates are designed to be SU/Universal and our ITB bolt pattern is a "+" Pattern because most manifolds use a "X" Pattern to bolt to the Head or Crab Bases! The ones pictured on this thread will bolt directly to the SSS 510 Manifold, which is 3" or 75mm C to C on a 45 Degree Angle! The 510 SSS Manifold is "Pictured" Bored to 45mm with a blending down in the manifold where the Ports divide! It cuts into the Water passage of the Manifold, so it has to be Blocked off at the Manifold/Head Junction! To answer your question on the "bolt to a Z Hitachi manifold", they can be made to if they don't now! We can also make a 100 run of any Base Plate that we have a Market for, very economically! I will also make you a Set of Specific Base Plates if that's what it takes! I see by your By-line what you do! Contact number is 850-835-1588 comes direct to my desk if you want to chat about a Dealership! Thanks for the Interest! Kevin

I would say no! Most of your older Manifolds that were ever fitted to cars with Power Brakes have a Brake Booster Port! If you look on the Manifold on #6 Runner you will see the Brake Booster Hose and Fitting, it has a "T" fitting in it to supply Vacuum to the Dash heater and A/C Components! The Vacuum Log has a 5/16ths fitting in it, and as a last resort could be used, but you run the risk of causing the MAP Sensor Signal to not be steady! Hope that helps! Kevin

What about "Triple and tunable length 50mm ITBs" on a Stock 5MGE or 7MGE Manifold? Hahahaha! No end to Extrudabody's configurations only limited by the Designer of the intake and how good you are with a Drill Press!

We are looking at 30 to 45 days before we hit the market with the 45mm ITB's, then 40mm and then 50mm! Kevin

Twin SU's in Polished and 1" Extensions! Kevin
-
The Beta Program is for Applications we do not currently have running, which we do not currently have a Twin SU set-up running! You can see details of it here http://www.extrudabody.com/News.html The ITB system utilizes base Plates which we have to mount to basically any Weber Manifold, but custom Base plates can be used as well! Just have to make sure the ITB bolt pattern doesn't interfere with the bolt pattern of the base plate! If in doubt send us a Picture of a Gasket or the manifold base and we can tell you! Kevin

Hey Joel Got the Message and sent you a reply on our Beta install Program think you will like what you see! Thanks Mario! Kevin

Thanks Man! Kevin

The Above Picture is a Pair of SU's on a Datsun 510 SSS Manifold! You can see there is 1 25mm Extension on each ITB! You can go from 3" to 9" total Length, or anything in between if you machine them to a custom size! Also GUYS! They can be Taper bored to put 50mm Air Horns on a 40mm Set of ITB's! Possibilities and combinations are endless for the Tuner to use us to build trick kits with! Well hope you get the idea!

Cool Buddy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How's life treating you? Would love to see that happen! Check out our Beta Program on the Website!!!!!! Link is up above! One of the Neat things about the Extrudabody system is "Length Tuning and Fuel Homogination", we have 25mm and 50mm Extension that can be place before or after the ITB itself! This gives the engine builder/Tuner the ability to tune for ram flow "Effect" it also allows the Throttle Plate and Injector to be move closer or farther away from the Intake valve which has a similar effect on Fuel Homogination! Could be some hidden horse power there simply by experimenting on a DYNO, air flow is a tricky thing!! http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=viewImage&friendID=170838479&albumID=0&imageID=2508054 Kevin

Hey Guys here is a Crude Video I did in just a few Secs of the Extrudabody ITB system!! Pardon the Camera Shake! Kevin http://vidsearch.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.fullsearch Extrudabody

Thanks NZeder sent an email just now! PrOxLaMuS: I checked Private messages and had nothing if you are referring to here? Kevin
-
No no no! That's Per single ITB! Base Plates, fuel Rail and other parts are extra! Sorry did not mean to get your hopes up that much! With that said the Versitility, Quality and the Price is still hands down better than anything on the market! Typical 4 cylinder KIT will be in the $600 to $800 range! Kevin

That Question has a 1000 different answers as every combination of parts and flow characteristics are different, but the first thing is a resevoir to store and Dampin the signal! You will see one on my engine with the 6 hoses coming out of it! That application I used the Idle Air Jet "Ports" instead of the lower Vacuum Ports cause of the Exhaust! Case in Point a 500 cubic inch engine only breaths 7cfm per cylinder on a set of 50mm ITB's! That's not alot of AIR at Idle! With a 2 bar or 3 bar MAP sensor the resolution even goes down from there compared to a 1 bar sensor, that's where the Alpha N at idle will come in handy! Hope this helps Guys! Kevin
-
Well if you come to Destin Florida to Vacation your not 20 minutes from us! Spoting you a Set? See our Application Development section here! Damn nice looking RB by the Way! I talked at length with Tomei at the PRI show in Orlando about there SR20DET ITB/Turbo Set-up! One of the keys is "Stable Vacuum Reference" and Alpha-n for a idle set-up! http://www.extrudabody.com/News.html Also see my Datsun Z here! http://www.extrudabody.com/TechInfo/Installations.html Kevin

Hey Guys: We are new and soon to be on the market help spread the word! New concept in ITB's where the whole system is Modular in design where the base plates are seperat from the Main Bodies, this allows us to manufacture main components and allows you the DIYer to build your own base plates or utilize our Weber base Plates! 40mm, 45mm, and 50mm! Everything is Anodized or Stainless, we will also have polished too! RETAIL will be in the $99 per ITB Price range! Website is www.extrudabody.com The Test bed below is just an old Weber Manifold and have no Idea who makes it! We designed everything else in the Picture except the Bolts! Please help pread the word! Thanks! Kevin
