  1. Now for a Neat Factor, if we run Pico injectors we can flip the Throttle Bodies 180 degrees in relation to the Base plate and possibly hide the Rails and injectors under the ITB's. This will give Maximum Hood Clearance and look better I believe! Hopefully we can test fit that tomorrow! Kevin
  2. Hey V8dats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Here ya GO! Hahahah Thanks for the Kind words! Kevin
  3. Guys: We are Located 25 miles from there in Freeport Fl. Well Actually Eglin comes all the way to Freeport in some Areas! Amen on the Nice Beaches! Good Fishing! Good influx of female Tourists too! Hahahahahah! Kevin
  4. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=180089100687&fromMakeTrack=true&ssPageName=VIP:watchlink:middle:us Anyone seen those for changing Boost Pressure? Kevin
  5. Hey Vin: Give me a Link to the thread then I would like to see it as well! What kind of Power was that set-up making? Kevin
  6. Vin: I am Sure it will, but when your injecting STUFF that you can not see Burn it may be worth it in the long run! This is something with the HELP of SUPER Dan we aim to find out! That plenum will work with or without the additional Injectors inside, it will also fit with our ITB's to the RB26DETT Lower Manifold as well! When our 50mm ITB's are ready they can take the place of the 45mm ITB's and give the RB guys a Larger Throttle Body that will allow them to be Tapered to the 45mm Stock Lower to create a Nice RAM Horn From the Airhorn to the Stock Lower Manifold! Vin I looked and Looked for that Lower Serpentine Crank Pulley and Can not find it now! Strat a New Thread and Ask who does know where! Some one on here has to know! He wa advertising it as a SERP conversion for Datsun L series! sorry I could not help more! Kevin
  7. We have something like that from Clippard, it uses a 10/32" thread and can be screw in to our Idle Air Jets for very precise Synch Tuning! I was hoping the Cost Factor was a little more in line, but I ordered a Couple to have and Tinker with! I owe you one for that tid bit! Thanks! Kevin
  8. Ron: No I have not! could I have a Link to that Thinky Please? Is the threads 10/32 by chance? Kevin
  9. I know someone out there makes a Serp Crank Pulley for the L Series Motors, but for the life of me I can not remember who! I was just going to Machine a V Pulley for the Blower to see if it all worked out, then upgrade later to a Serp system if needed! Kevin
  10. Ahhhhhhhhh I see now said the Blind MAN! Man it's a Simple Aluminum Block with 2 holes, one is 1/4" and the other is 1/8"! It works like a Pendalum, the Cable goes thru the Small hole and it's sinched in the back side with one of our Cable Wire Clamps! Real simple conversion! Hope that helped! Kevin
  11. Hey Adam: Don't sweat the Skeeters, it's them Flying Elephants that get ya ever time! Ask any question when ever you like! Sean: We have them on the Store here: http://www.extrudabody.biz/servlet/the-140/FWA-dsh-1/Detail Kevin
  12. Hey Adam! Good Point! Notice the Drawing below it's on our website as well, but see the IDLE AIR JET Port, that's exactly what it's for to bleed in extra air to control Idle and give the bump when A/C kicks on and for Warm Up!! There is another Port on the Bottom of our ITB's than be utilized for Vacuum Reference to the MAP and FPR ETC. They Come standard with 10/32 Vacuum Taps, but can be made bigger if needed with a Hand Drill and Tap! You can also drill from the side and tap it there as well! GM Idle Air Housing designed to mount direct to the Extrudabody "T Slot" Rail Mounting system. Most all the Aftermarket ECU's can control Stepper motors, and if not you are correct a simple Idle up valve controlled by Time or Temp will work thru the "Idle AIR Jets" This is the Concept behind the Extrudabody "Idle Air Jet" I have found that the MAP/FPR source needs to be all on it's on, with a Chamber to dampen the Pulses to steady the MAP Sensor! The Ports on the Bottom of our ITB's on a N/A Z car are just to DAMN Close to the Header and get very Hot for any kind of Vacuum line to have a decent longevity to it! Kevin
  13. Millsan1: this is typical of Weber style Throttle Linkages, you have have 2 choices, run the Lever Style Pictured with your Stock Mechanical syetem by adapting our Levers to the Weber Linkage or you can go with Cable style which is how My Z is set-up! Picture of a Modified Throttle Pedal, it has a Cable Adjuster in the stock Firewall Hole mounted to a piece of Aluminum that's bolted to the Firewall with the Stock Linkage Bolts. The Extrudabody Cable system then mounts direct to Throttle Cam/Stop to control all 6 ITB's! A/F is controled by the ECU with either WIdeband or Standard O2 Input! Hope this Helps! Kevin
  14. Tony: Is it the same size M62 as the Mercedes unit? If So it may be a little Small for the 2.8 ltr? Wonder what CFM at 7PSI it's Flowing? Anyone know? Kevin
  15. I sure would love to know the C TO C bore spacing of the Lower Manifold? Where the Runners of the lower manifold meet the Upper Manifold! Kevin
  16. We have a IS300 intake Manifold on it's way to see if our Plenum Design will adapt to the modified Manifold to RUN our ITB's. It could be as simple as welding a Weld Plate like this one to the stock 2JZGE runners only for 6 Cylinders to allow Extrudabody ITB's to be adapted to the stock Manifold.
  17. Well we have sold several sets, but it takes time to install and gather all parts needed to finish the install like Electronices and what not! Stay tuned guys the 12 injector set-up running Meth under boost is going to be a treat! Also Dan added a new LINK for a Company called Retrotek to the ECU PARTS PAGE (They are Not affiliated with Extrudabody) that builds an ECU it does quite a bit of new stuff not previously seen. Mainly single line fuel Control which could be REAL handy on older Cars! My Car runs the Predocessor to this ECU above! Here's a Little Story for you guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I bought my Z off Ebay in California in 2005 sight unseen on a Saturday, it was delivered to San Luis Obispo, we converted it to run Programmable Efi on Monday and Tuesday, I set out for Florida on Wednesday, all part of a Publicity Stunt to promote the NEW ECU at the time! Taking an old Z Cross country in July was adventure in itself, but 100 degrees in the shade of AZ and TX, proved more than the OLD Z could take and vapor lock was a major Problem! We had a Ball though, good buddy from S. Florida flew out to Vagas and rode back to Dallas with me, Grand Canyon, Petroglyths, Bike Festivals and good friends is something to reflect on now! ALSO if you happen to be traveling on I20 in July of 05 and saw an old Green Z running down the interstate with 2 bags of ICE on the Manifold and the hood part of the way open and flappin against a Bungy cord, you will know who it was and you now know the CAR! Also this car was tunned on a DYNO with the Original Intake and Injectors, when I installed the Extrudabody ITB's with NEW/Different Injectors, it has never seen another Dyno or a Wideband O2! It's running SELF TUNE feed Back control and a little playing I did with the Data Logging system the ECU came with and that's it, and it is also running FULL MAP control not Alpha N or a Blend of MAP/Alpha N! Big CAM would probably make that impossible, but we are doing it on this set-up! 810 would be Cool! Millsan!: Sorry did not understand the question? Kevin
  18. I blew up the picture, and theres more than 3 wires so it may be a stepper motor! They usually have 4 wires! It's hard to tell any way! Looks to have the Same Clutch as the Mercedes unit! Kevin
  19. Wondering of this would be an easier Mounted on the Passenger side! It also looks to have a Dip Stick in the Blower! It's a Toyota 2.4 Application as well! Looks to Have a Electric Bypass Valve as well! Anyone have any experience with this unit? Kevin
  20. I would be courios what a Supercharger only Dyno Pull looked like! How wide is that Blower? The Height and the Length from center of Pulley to TB Face? Could you get those numbers for me Please? Kevin
  21. Go to looking for a R154 you may be surprised, as they are not as plentiful as you would think! Most of the Supra guys are wanting the W78's anyway! Kevin
  22. Ahhhhhhh! OK! I was actually looking at the Ford 3.8 Supercharger and I was just going to build a V-Belt Pulley and incorporate it into the Alternator Belt Drive system! I was not looking at the Clutch system until I saw your Thread! Any experience with the Mounting of the super charger itself? Do they have to be mounted flat? orcan they be mounted on there side without starving one rotor bearings? Kevin
  23. So you are not going to run the Clutch of the M62? Does the Lightning Pulley fit the SLK Clutch? Well I must admit I am a Machinist with a DRO Bridgeport in the Shop so Adapting it to the right side will take more doing for sure, but one I have to do to live in Florida! Plenum? See the base Mounted to our ITB's? we are having BLANK ones made as well so when your tired of your 4x4 Plenum give us a Call! Kevin
  24. Photos of the Plenum being CNCed/Fabricated now!
