  1. what causes their turbos to break so easy? the ones that split were display pieces from what i heard. and the ones "exploded" i heard were from oil starvation. think that they are balanced, and use the actual hardened bronze bearings, and good quality thrust washers? has anyone taken these apart to check and see? i've tried searching and couldn't find up-to-date info on their current turbos. so far ive only found things from last year. i know people are still buying them, b/c i watch the auctions. i know alot of the name brand ones are made in mexico.

  2. update for where i live, just yesterday it was 75 degrees here....... now it is in the high 30's. just b/f i posted this i went out to measure how much was in the street and it was about 3/4"

  3. using the same harness myself but on my 280zx, pain in the ass if you wanna keep stock connectors. best bet im my case is to use all new switches. but i am in no way stock anything anymore. if you do do it solder every connection but test to make sure you connected the right wires to what (stock side). anyhow i got halfway trying then i quit and decide to redo the entire system even down to all the switches

  4.

voicing what I believe FROM EXPERIENCE to be 100% true.

Beyond that money and perfection have nothing to do with this.

Idk why I keep having to say this but... There is nothing wrong with a cheap paint solution. If I was on a tight, budget and needed paint I would do it in a heart beat. That though shouldnt and will never be called a "show quality" paint job lol. Thats all I'm saying.

you are 23yrs old and you have a ton of experience obviously b/c it seems you have done it all and know EVERYTHING.

money and perfections has EVERYTHING do do with this thats why peeps who do this spend LITTLE, and get BETTER results by just sanding and buffing do it, so dont voice it has nothing to do with it, b/c if you do your in the wrong thread.

what i highlighted in red up there infact is a insult to my post/opinion just like how you posted b/f, thats why i am no longer lurking the forum. If you want to go that route, you should never "insult" people to voice an OPINION :fmad:

  5.

dude, are you going to continuously dog my post, your point has been made mr. professional get over it. post some pics of show quality if you will, but this is a cheap way to get things done to descent standards imo. don't take this offensively but youre quite a cocky one, all your cars must be gorgous b/c you dont want anything but perfect apparently. for us less perfect fellas and tight butts out there this is an option that suites our needs, so if you constantly keep picking at my post; i will reply. so stop being so critical..... btw i have seen show quality paint, and its a waste of money imo b/c if i did spend that kind of money i would never drive that car, and that defeats the purpose in having a car. no trailer queens here

 look at my sig, now thats a show quality paint job all the way!:lmao:

  6. The stock, round top, SU will feed a otherwise stock L-28 just fine up to about 6k. After that and they simply cannot supply enough fuel. Also you should contact Z Therapy and get some SM needles. They will provide the richer fuel curve needed with a 2.8L.

thats what ive done and it runs really good only smoked b/c of bad valve stem seals. now replaced them and it runs extremely well
