i did the same thing, i was depressed for about 6 months i think. i told the guy i sold it to (friend of mine) i want to buy it back, i said "sure, i knew you would want it back, just give me back what i paid you." i was soo happy. anyways i am just trying to say, there is always that possibility that you might get that one back in time, and if you do get it back i got a tranny for you just to help you get back to where you need to be. (4speed or 5) i offer this simply b/c this reminds me of what happend with me. good luck silent

I really think it could be done, so long as you run some vacuum lines to the float bowls to equalize the pressure, and use a higher than stock pressure fuel pump. While you may in fact be crazy, that doesn't rule out the possibility of a twin blow-through SU setup
And just because we've never seen it, doesn't mean it can't or even hasn't been done, right? (also, just because it's on the car and connected, doesn't mean it worked or ran-this car IS dead in a barn, after all!)
in that case i will try it with my spare motor just b/c i love the su's. i believe you can make it work but we wont know until someone has done it. it would be even better if it does better than everyone thought.
btw, veritech. as far as equalizing pressure in the bowls; what do you think would be the best way to do that when connecting the vaccum lines

never really seen your car until now, and those slicks out back are HUGE!! looks great without the paint, but then again i like the "rat" look

looked like an 1/8 to me, but that 8.56 must be something else

i almost went 450lbs. i plan on autox and try this drifting stuff (just to see what the craze is about) definitely stiff after it was on the car

i am glad someone brought this thread about, b/c i plan on taking a (round trip) 4k mile trip though whats left of old route66 and a few other places and photo diary of the whole thing, so i can say i did something in life. bringing family wife, daughter.

that is amazing, i wish i had the time and $ to do my z as good as that. i absolutely love the stance and black accents.

those pickups/suvs are fast and rare definitely. i was in austin comeing home last year and i was in my civic hatch right, and a gmc "sonoma" pulled up next to me at the light and revved up "lightly"; so i did the same. (i know streetracing is bad) he starts a high idle and i see the truck jump a little. light turns green and this basta**'s front end lifts off the ground (chassis twist and all) and i freak out and stall out.
i was like a deer in the headlights, and pulled behind him at the next light and saw the word "Cyclone". embarrassing huh?. well long story short good luck finding one of those to pull the drivetrain out off.

i am officially almost done with the coilovers. i have QA1 12x2.5" 425lb rated springs. aluminum sleeves, tokico hp blue struts, and a lot of fabrication. i do admit though it came out pretty dang good.
if you must know i just like fabricating stuff, especially when the site was down i felt so lost.

i too suffer from the hybridz addiction. i was checking every 45 mins when it went down. i accually went outside today and made my coilovers for crying out loud, i spend more time on the forum than working on the z. i think i need professional help...... that was a reality check though.

thats what i was thinking
