thats awsome, it must take off from a dead stop extremely fast. update on my zx, it now has stupid stiff suspension (should be allowed to drive on glass only!!!)
-
hey mike, is it cast or not?, if it is cast (pot aluminum or us welders call it trash aluminum) it will make it harder for your local welder to do and cost more. and that is only if they can even do it. but remember this.... if you really want that done, make sure the welder has some of his work to show of the same material.
i have known many welders that say they can do it and screw it up and claim that it wasnt their fault, but the metal was no good. so beware!!

you can find this kit, but it is extremely hard to come by and very expensive. btw that car above is one of the quickest ive seen, i personally dont know the guy, i stumbled across a soldiers page and found this and vids. sry dont remember the web address

that is one of the best looking i've seen! what size tubing did you use? and great welds might i add.

i has the dual cylinder pump already, i guess i should look forward to the 5hp motor then. cool beans

i was searching around for this compressor on the web and found out this is originally supposed to have a 5hp motor on it and run about 15csfm at 175psi.
-
as far as your electrical problem, i personally only owned 280zx's but from what i know, 240z's have voltage regulators and i would look into that.

why didnt you tell me this earlier, now i gotta go tell the wife

i agree, with red, ive been in the welding industry for 2years (actual work time) and 2years schooling. and have a degree w/ certifications to back that up. but, that all i have. plus he's got what all of us dont have, and that is "that setup". besides all that, he did a damn good job on that
-
i just bought a two stage 120 gal. air compressor. problem is it as a 1/2 hp motor on it, too small but works anyway. i guess all i have to do is upgrade the motor, what do you guys think? and lets not forget i bought this setup for only $50, and it works flawlessly<-------- i dont care who ya are, you cant beat that deal!!!

its unique, just different taste is all. i refuse to bash that guys "car", due to me getting bashed 3 years ago with my z, b/c i happen to stumble on a z thread about me. my feelings are still messed up from it.

i would come and help ya, but ive never done the rear glass b/f. also my daily driver needs tires.
-
think halogen are good? i might just be cheap about this.

that jag guy was a real bastard, purist.... thats reminds me of how my father was (carmaro buff). he has since opened up b/c of my z's

mine was $130 for a 20 ciicuit

thats how my victoria british pistons looked when i bought them, but new. std on top. btw, they were cast aluminum, nothing special. and that is definitely a hand drill hone.
-
what he said is true,i welded professionally for 2 years and gave it up, but in those 2 years i was told not to have those in my helmet by the other welders on site. few of the guys i worked with now wear glasses b/c of it.
-
im using these guy's harness http://www.ezwiring.com/. its just as good as painless quality wise. i got the 20 mini, and it is awsome.
-
im not using illuminas, these are the hp blue's. as far as bars they are 1" front 7/8" back. thanx for the compliment

....... vw bus on cucuit, beating seems like fast cars.....
-----PRICELESS------

veritech-z?.....
u would figure by possibly modifying the slope beneath the piston to allow pressure to force the piston up as the boost rises thus if using custom ground needles the enrichment should be good enough to run properly and add much more power. but, you do indeed need to have much higher fuel pressure as well as some type of vaccum line going to the fuel bowls from inbetween the turbo and intake that can be regulated to pressurize it.
but this is just an idea at the moment, as i never boosted b/f. so input is greatly appreciated

that does make sense, ugly people need love (one night drunken stands) too.
