    come to think about it, i used the "stops rust" version on my civic 2 years ago and it never did chip or peel, but im curious to wetsand it and buff it. anyhow im going to use the "stops rust" on the z just because i have had good results on my civic. also i just got done with some more bodywork on the z and it is really coming along.

     

    big phil which version of rustoleum did you use?

     

    OTM how long do you think until you get the whole car done, im pretty excited to see the entire car finished.

    that is wonderful how your paint came out, and damn cheap too. i myself am doing the spray method. unfortunately it here are my costs:

    1. compressor (180gal. 2 stage, unaware seller) $50

    2. spray guns (gravity HVLP) $15 each (2)

    3. air filter (for paint setups) $25

    4. mask $25

    5. plastic sheeting (12ftx50ft) $10

    6. masking tap $5

    7. rustolem paint (4qts) $30

    8. mineral spirits (1gal) $7?

    9. sandpaper $20

    10. orbital sander $20

    11.who know what else!

    a custom oil pan, seems like the most hassle free imo. that is probably what i would do in you case. firewall cutting is just not my thing, but it would recess the engine back b/c you have to think of the original rotary engine weight to the l28et weight. heres a few pointers:

    1. custom oil pan, pickup - easy to do (other clearance problems?)

    2. firewall cut - engine balanced more toward center of car (better handling)

    3. rack swap - just as much fabrication as firewall but with custom oil pan results.... engine weight too far into the nose of the car.

    i feel for that guy, he may say 24 months, but this place is like a black hole. you are very lucky if you get out. anyhow, i myself am not a mustang guy, so i gotta take em out w/ the z.... lol. maybe after that he will change his mind and come to the darkside with us.

    40 of em ehh.... guess i better take em out one by one then. lol b/c he wont see me on the road until january. btw, i only have seen one, and that was recently and im always driving around looking for trouble. air force?... never see those guys around (recruiters that it) and ive been here 18 yrs. now. btw, phil i guess ill take half and you take the other half!! lol!!

    i was wondering what you would do if you bought this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=006&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT&viewitem=&item=160046477927&rd=1,1 from ebay, and it came with no regulating guage as listed in the auction?

     

    well anyhow i emailed the seller 3 times and each time they claim they don't know what i was talking about. so i sent them a picture of another similar auction, and still they claim "what's the problem" so i send them a picture with the guage circled. they tell me they still don't know what im talking about, so i told them i want a refund. seems fare right? wrong! they tell me i will get a refund but they won't pay for shipping back; come on it was there fault for false advertising.

     

    i emailed them back and told them they were crazy and they replied "i will have my warehouse manager look for what you are talking about". i waited 3 business days and no reply. so i file a dispute claim against them and tried to communicate through that, and they never reply after a week of waiting. last resort i close the case and let paypal investigate.

     

    do any of you guys think i did the right thing?

    i played dod, but i personally didnt like it. i have bf2142 also but dont play it as much. on both games my name is my member name here "RoninJiro". in cod2 im mainly in 'allcustommaps'(green colored), (wp)rifles, and others at times. as far as bf2142 it's just occasional that i play that.
