Well, I too learned that friends and money dont always work out. I got burned for over $2000 and lost a best friend over it (now my brother-in-law). I still can't believe that it happened the way it did. To make a long story short... I leant him $$$ over 5 months and gave him a place to stay. I was helping him through a tough time. I ended up getting him a job where I work that paid alot more than what he had been getting. And guess what the first thing he does is...he goes out and buys a truck for $2000 cash instead for paying me anything! He already had a truck and a car. He in no way needed this thing. Grrr....sorry I'll stop while I'm ahead. I have yet to see my money and it's been many months now. I am glad you only lost $125. I hope it works out for you. Jason

Well, after having to put my Z off for 5 years...I am picking up the torch again and hope to have it road ready by the end of this summer. How many people on HybridZ have a Turbo Tom set up in thier Z? Maybe we could start a topic? Talk about our expereinces and maybe give some tech, info, and support on it? Just a thought. Maybe include all turbo carb engines? Thoughts? Anyone?

This is really cool! I am buying a Turbo Tom set up from a member here. I was going to wait until I picked it up to start talking about it. Then I read this and, oh well. It's the set up that was putting down around 500ish HP. On NOS. But I should have it running 350 to 400 without...I hope. Anyway...I have not been able to find much on the net about it. How safe are they? I know this question is relative on many things, but...from the factory are there any major flaws with these cars? I found out the headlights would short out, but I'll be rewiring the car. What about the strenght of the car? Its tiny so I think I'll keep her under 250 HP. Anyone know how well they handle on the road? I've never driven one. Just bought these off a friend dirt cheap.

I also found out that a new Opel Gt is being buillt on the Solstice platform, would be kinda cool to have an old school Opel GT with the same drivetrain as a new one. I won't be able to do much until early next year, as far as buying an engine or trans. But I can do the research now and be ready for it. I am hoping I can get ahold of a wrecked Solstice and pull the drive train out of that. As far a engine electronics goes...I guess Mega Squirt could work. I'll try and keep pics and write ups on both my 240Z (Turbo Tom setup) and the Opel. I'll be getting a digital camara by Christmas.

Yeah, my wife is way cool. Been married for 7 months now, but I have known her for over 8 years. She is everything I could have imagined a great woman being...smart, funny, loving, and very beautiful. She likes to play Halo online as well...ha ha...not sure how I got so lucky. She likes to tinker with things as well, and has always wanted to help me restore the 240Z. Oh, I almost forgot...she can sing VERY well too, nothing like making diner together and have her sing or hum.....mmmmm sorry, getting off topic here.
