  1. Cool, gives me something to shoot for. Ha ha jason
  2. I kinda asked this question a while back...I didn't get an answer and got kinda jumped on for asking it. Maybe someone will tell us? Or, they could just say quit asking dumb questions... But I would really like to know to. Jason
  3. I want to build a megasquirt so bad. I am hoping to have the funds before Christmas. But right now I have other things that need to be paid. Jason
  4. I kinda disagree, i know the marines pretty much all died but, they were up against what, hundreds of aliens? There were just a handful of marines. Plus, they didn't really know what they were up against until a few of them died. I think the marines could put a world of hurt on them now. But, either way...it would be a bloody battle. I would like to see more Alien moveis made. Follow the books story line. Anyway, I hope its a good movie. Jason
  5. I'll be putting one on my car. But, I don't think it will see the road until mid next year. Jason
  6. Many of us have been waiting years for this to happen.
  7. How much HP does that thing have stock? Will you be putting it in your Z? You would be the star of any Z car meet. To have a Nissan V8 in your Z...that's just awesome. Great find! Jason
  8. Well...I bought my 1971 240Z for only $300. That included enough parts to put two of them together! Heck of a deal...then I started buying performance parts and other parts and this and that... I have over $4,000 into now and it still has not seen the road. I am waiting for the money to buy a turbo upgrade and build a Megasquirt. Then I hope to learn how to paint my own car(doing this before I put it back together). All in all, I'll most likely have well over 10 grand into it before it see's the road. I am completely restoring it, everything is new or rebuilt or upgraded. I just hope to finish it by next summer. I am guessing that by the time I am done with it I"ll have about $15,000 into it. I don't think that, that is all that bad. It will be like buying a new car that can kick almost anything's butt for only 15 grand...not bad in my book. Anyway, Jason
  9. I 2nd that. That's a nice looking car Jason
  10. Thanks for the replies guys. I'll start asking around next week. I found a shop that is about 5 or 6 blocks from my house. Then another one that is about a mile away. I'll go to those first. I'll let you know what happens Jason
  11. What would be a fair amount of time worked for them in exchange for the use of thier shop to paint my car. 100 hours of free labor? How ever long it takes me to learn enough to paint my own? Any ideas? I don't want to be used as slave labor forever. haha. But, would want to learn to do it right and maybe get them to help a little. I guess I should hit the pavement and start asking. Thanks, Jason
  12. I have been wanting to paint my own car for a long time. I have been thinking about going to some area bodyshops and asking if they would consider letting me work for them. The thing is...I don't really know much about painting cars. I would be willing to work for them for free, in order to learn the skills. I would also have to do this in my spare time, like after work. This limits my free hours to after 4:30 P.M. and on weekends. Many shops that I have seen work late and also on weekends so... Anyway, do you guys think this is crazy to ask? Will most shops look at me strangely and throw me out? haha. If I could learn some new skills and use thier shop to paint my car, that would be awesome. In exchange for "X" amount of hours helping them. Just wanted your guys thoughts on this. Thanks, Jason
  13. Somewhere out there, there is a plane looking for its rearwing.

    1971 Opel GT

They don't look to bad...I would still take my 240Z over it anyday. I saw a couple of nice looking Corvairs the other day to. One salvage yard wanted around $2000 U.S. dollars for one that was in good shape. It was beefed up a bit to. Had problems with its tranny though. I heard of people getting almost 400 HP out of the Corvair engine. Not bad!

    1971 Opel GT

I think that it was an Opel GT I saw in the salvage yard. Are there any engine swaps for these cars?

    1971 Opel GT

Can any of you post some pics? I think there is one in a salvage yard near me. It would need a lot of work by the looks of it. Might make a good Hybrid car? I don't know... Jason
  17. I have a laser sight on my Tippman with the flatline barrel. It doesn't work all that well. Mostly because paintballs tend to curve a bit sometimes. Paintball guns are not as accurate as a real gun. BUT, for looks and and playing mind games with your opponents...get it. My laser sight has a small push button that can be placed just about anywhere on the gun. Mine is near the trigger. So, I can have it on only when I press the button down. That way I do not give up my location by having a red light on all the time. I can also have it on all the time, if I so choose. Nothing like playing a night game and seeing the people jump when they find a red dot on them. Works really well on the noobs. They panick and forget to fire or just fire wildly. I then pick them off at my bidding. Ha ha. I also have a scope, but have it mostly for looks. I must look like Rambo to some players. If you use the flatline make sure you line up the barrel correctly. If not...your paintballs will curve a lot. Good luck in choosing a gun that's right for YOU. And always play safe. You will have tons of fun. Jason
  18. I was thinking about getting a Bushmaster gun for more of the speedball stuff. So, its a good gun? One guy I talked to said it was kinda crappy. But, I think it was more of his lack of skill and maintance on the gun. Speedball is fun in some ways...but I still perfer the woods. I just love the hunt. I loved to play army as a kid. Caputre the flag is great too. Jason
  19. If you like playing out in the woods get a Tippman Custom 98. You can get either a flatline barrel or a Sniper barrel. They work great. Makes your gun shoot a lot farther. You can even get full auto upgrades for them. I have played for years using the Tippman on 40 acres of wooded and hilly land. They are a very tough gun and shoot well. I have seen people come out in thier high dollar guns saying their all bad and what not...they all end up getting their you know what, kicked all over the place. Some of them have gone out and purchased Tippmans afterwards. Ha ha ha. They shoot well, take a beating, are long lasting, beginer friendly, have a higher rate of fire then many guns, have tons of upgrades... the list goes on. Right now I think they are going for around $139 here. Hell even Wal-mart sells them now. I also have a Zap 600 electroinc full auto gun... its not to bad. It has a selectible rate of fire....for 1,2,3,4,5,6, and then full auto. You should see the people run when they hear it at full auto. He he he. I still choose my Tippman over it. More accurate gun. Good luck and welcome to the wonderful sport of paintball. Jason P.S. Always...and I mean always wear your face mask when playing.
