Overkill Z

r154's hold around 700hp in supras but they are ticking time bombs at that power. I Feel that it will hold because Z's weigh so much less the supras lol.

I plan on running 245's max because i dont want to cut the quarters. And we only have tuned up to 8 psi!!!!!!! I didnt one pull that hit 15psi but it went lean so we need to do ALOT more tuning! And 8 psi-quarter throttle the car sounds like an airplane taking off LOL...the turbo is sooo loud is friggn SEXY!

we have absolutely NO IDEA.... all the same grounds/power leads just a different harness.

I know this doesn't add much to your build but i was just reading through it. I have come to the conclusion there is only one word that comes to mind. "nuts". LOL Amazing build and so much work i hope it works out big time. I wonder how youll do vs my z?

ALRIGHTTTTT I just got my USDM wiring harness in the mail yesterday and its sitting next to my car now. I went through it and it looks good!!! sooooooo hopefully by this weekend the weather will let up enough to get that installed.

Just so you know...the aristo wiring differences are VERY different then usdm. I had to re-pin my whole ecu block to work with a usdm ecu!!!! TRUST ME if you get a jdm motor buy a separate USDM wiring harness. Unless ofcourse you plan on running a jdm ecu.

Replacing the plugs is as simple has pulling out the wires from the clip and plugging them in the new clip. not much room for mistake when you hold the new clip next to the old one......

sorry shaggy, i replaced all the plugs/pigtails with new oem ones lol. Im puttn those on the usdm harness when it gets here.

Well Toyota said It would take a month to get a new wiring harness so i got a used usdm one off supraforums. Its un altered and was on a running car.

PS i just wanted to post a little about my experience with WORKS. Im upset that they were unable to track down my wiring problem BUT SO WERE THEY... It means so much when you find a group of guys that want to solve a problem with as much effort as they did. well we have tried a couple differnt aem ems's and they all still rev limit at around 250-3000 rpms. Im tired of this problem and bit the BIG bullet and got a NEW wiring harnes ordered today from toyota. yes i bought it straight from toyota! I hope the harness is my saving grace...because im at wits end about this goast rev limit. Currently the car is at my friends house. He is a 2jz gurue and sitting next to my car is a lexus sc300 with at least 800hp that does 10's....so i feel im in good hands.

Oh i was hoping it was something i did....

Alright guys I just got off the phone with WORKS. They told me that the car revs to redline now but still has problem areas they cant seem to figure out why it breaks up at those rpms. They have done a basic tune....and have had them go through the wiring harness to the best on their abilities. After 1400 dollars the car still does not rev smoothly and they feel its still something in the wiring harness (most likley something i have not touched). They have tested all the sensors and say that "everything they can check says the car should be runing great". so at this point im frustrated at spending money with not alot of progress. I still reccomend WORKS because they were great to work with but im a little bent out of shape because my problem has not been solved. i have been told i should "start over with the wiring"
