  5. Got the horizontal brace/harness bars cut out last night and smoothed out. Damn it's easier to weld them in then cut them out and smooth everything out without messing up the other tube work. Here's the start of the new horizontal brace/harness bar. Enjoy

  11. Get the red and tacky Lucas grease. That's all we use in my shop. Has never let us down. I rebuild prob a dozen front ends a week. Used it many times on inner tie rods and never had to warranty one yet.
  12. Have the rear window panels and the panel that goes across the roof. They are out of a series 1
  13. Looks good. I fabed up my own floor pans to save money. I bought a 36" metal break and a 4x10 sheet of cold rolled 18ga for half the price of the MSA ones and also built frame rails w/ 1x3 tube .080 wall. Worked out really well and stiffened up the chassis. Keep up the good work
  14. Not at that point yet. Will worry about it when I get there Last night got the diagonal bar cut and fully welded into the car
  15. Last night got the diagonal bar in on the main hoop of the roll cage and fully welded in.
  16. No sure on mirror or window net yet. Being I still need to get a lot more track time under my belt first. I can always add it later.
  17. No it would have sucked since I already had the plates for the cage in and fully welded in before even doing the main hoop. So didnt have much of a choice. But it was very simple doing it this route. So the next one prob going to do it the sameway.
  18. Welded up the holes in the roof last night. Turned out ok. Will still need to use a minimum amout of body filler. .
  19. Welded the roof back up last night will need minimum body filler.
  20. So got a little more work done on the roll cage. Cut holes on the rear fender wells and also in the roof. I really did not want to cut off the roof and I like doing sheet metal work so I said screw it and cut holes. I and going to patch the holes on the roof tonight. So keep watch so you can see the final details on the roof. I did finish welding the cage. All I got left is door bars and a few more tubes going to the front/rear strut towers and a few gussets. Enjoy some seam welding added Holes in the roof Rear fender well
