i might be wrong but the clutch fork doesn't function the same way, the ford one needs a push type SC where the chevy one needs a pull type SC.

i love them, used to own a 1988 N/A one, bought it with only 45k miles, drove it for a year and loved every minute of it. white with red interior, OMG i miss that car.

ok one more question, would this u joint from summit work on the stock ford tranny yoke??
edit: i found the answer and the answer is yes it will fit the ford tranny yoke
my other question now is the stock yoke has 28 or 31 spline?? my tranny is a stock 1989 tranny.

thanks alot Adam
ill try to order the stuff today but not sure they will accept my order since my billing adres is in Kuwait and my shipping adres is in NY,
thanks again for the advice
-
actually i'm not asking about my current u joint size, i would like to know the size needed to use it with JTR V8 flang adapter.
about the solid mount, is it streetable or is it a bit harsh?
-
nice car, BTW it's called LUMINA SS here in Kuwait

hi guys,
i have a question about drive shafts, my car vibrates on high RPM, i have the stock ford drive shaft and the datsun flang welded together.... i saw the Chevy adapter for the rear flange and it looks like a better idea than what i have, my question is about the U joints since its my first time buying them, on summit's site, they have maybe 30 of them
http://store.summitracing.com/egnsearch.asp?Ntt=1310+U+joint+&N=700+115+4294817041&Ntk=KeywordSearch
which one is the right one???
another thing is my front differential mount, should i get a solid one or just a stock one?
-
whaaaaaaat ??? i was away for few days and the car already made it to the track????CONGRATS AND GREAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT looking car and sounds awesome, about the track times, those are not real times if the Z is not tuned. about your 60 foot, not sure why are you doing 2.1-2.6?? it should be a bit faster, tune the car, get a nice converter and let us know how it goes, and yeah, i would love to see this beast running on NITROUS just a small 100hp shot would be fun.
congrats again and wish you all the best

i got mine, great write-up and nice photos and details, thanks again, my friend's life is much easier now after seeing your copy.
thanks again
