    Hi all, what did you use to replace the material that covered the centre console on the original Z's.... the later models (i have a 71 240z) like the 280z came with carpetting.... the 1971 240z came with insulation material glued to a cast-like cover...

    Well I have a stock 240z and I plan on modding the inside of my 240 to make it look like a 2007 interior... in any case.. i was hoping to see what some of you have done to the interiors of your car... One of my favorite pics is this wide angle that i found on cygnusx1's website (hope you dont mind)... Hope to see some response! Cheers!

    Thanks aziza! Im not liking the BRE spook... just doesnt cut it for me... i think im just gonna work on the interior.. and worry about air dams later.. Btw... on the centre console... under the plastic there was a thin vinyl layer... and underneath it was some rotting "cast-like" material.. when i took that off i noticed it was black soft plastic... now how on earth do i replace something like that?

    man seats are a pain... sometimes its the cost that kills you... sometimes you think you found something better...then you realize it doesnt fit--- now i cant make up my mind whether i want cloth or leather in my car... before i didnt know the color. I want it to be justtt right. may the car seat god help me LOL ...maybe ill stick to my original seats and get them restored...

    I like your ideas however if i add just an airdam... i feel like the car sometimes look off balance...like the front is protruding and low while the back is untouched...

    i paid 6500... but it is 99% rust free.. the 6500 included body work and a paintjob.. i drove about (there and back) 130 km... (5 or sixtimes... sometimes just to sit there and admire it...)

    Hey thanks a lot for the support/comments Sorry about the weird picture format... didnt no what i was doing... should be good now tho. I do plan on putting on a MSA TYPE II or TYPE III body kit on the car... any idea what is the average price of the kits? the Z store sells them for 639$ and 549$...

    I too am having problems selecting wheels.. With 17x7 or 18x7.5 wheels.. wont you have to consider flares to put them in? or will stock fit those wheels fine?
