Hey Guys, I know there are a few mates from the UK here and I would love to learn who of you may be, or know, entrepreneurs in your area. I just about to graduate with a Master's in management and Global Entrepreneurship in the U.S. and after traveling Europe and studying in Cambridge for a semester, I have really been homesick for London or a few other select areas, Cambridge, Oxford, Bath, or??? Anyhow, I have been seeking a startup or small growing company to join in the London area that would not have a problem with my being from the U.S. If anyone has any ideas, advice, or encouragement, that would be swell. If nothing else, I would love to hear from some Londoners. Cheers, Jared

I know this probably shouldn't be my first post upon my return from my 3 month stint in Europe but I just had to put in a good word for my faithful harbor freight "junk." I must say that my hand tools all of which were acquired for next to nothing have weathered fabulously. I do tile work and use mostly their equipment. First off new tools are a tax write off so if I buy new ones often no biggie. However, I have almost all of their wet saws including the two large ones and have not had a problem yet. They are great MK copies and with my MK hot dog blades they do just great. Havn't killed one yet. I did a couple of very tiny filing modifications on the Large saw to make the blade fall lower but other then that no problems. At 1/5 the cost new (mine was even cheaper at half of that price) I could buy one for each job and still come out ahead. I use their 1/2 inch reversible hammer drill to mix grout and thinset and their small tile cutters do a good job as well. I love my little red portable wet saw that just won't die. I use their 4.5 inch angle grinder all the time (the orange one) and I can't seem to kill it. Their die grinder, da sander, Air line sander, polisher, jitterbug, spray guns, electric planer, small drill press, electric paint sprayer, battery charger, etc...(very large collection) have all held up amazingly. With my tile tools I have a backup of everything that I have never had to fall back on. The only thing that has ever broken on me were screwdrivers and I just keep them around and the next time I go to harbor freight they give me new ones. Their lifetime warrenty on hand tools is great especially since they beat Sears all day long on prices. I love harbor freight especially with my 20% off coupons.

Looks like the elements of a scammer are all missing. Ive been buying and selling on ebay for a long time and if it were my money I would buy from him. Pay with a credit card (preferably american experess for added security) through paypal and you are double protected.

Well actually 2500 isnt too bad a price for a body that nice. Of course there could be ten pounds of bondo and rattle can paint for all I can tell

Great response Brandon. However, E 85 takes much energy to produce including the use of fossil fuels. It will burn cleaner. As far as helping you peel the tires well thats what we are here for! ...it actually takes more energy to produce ethanol than the petroleum-derived energy it saves when accounted on a “field-to-wheel†basis. However, according to the Department of Energy’s Argonne National Laboratory, if 100 BTUs of energy are used to plant corn, harvest the crop, transport it, and so on, 138 BTUs of energy are available in the fuel ethanol produced – a 38 percent increase in energy availability... They fail to mention that you will also get up to 34 % fewer miles to the gallon.

For all of you that have or are in the process of kicking the habit, Congrats! I just wanted to say that I was an on and off smoker for awhile and I am so glad I kicked that habit. However, regardless of what anyone thinks, quitting smoking does not cause one to gain weight. It is usually that one modifies their eating habits after quitting (replacing one compulsion with another) as well as not exercising just as as they did when they were smoking. Because you are now eating, but still not exercising, it stands to reason that one may gain some or alot of weight. Since nicotene is an appetite surpressant and is usually combined with coffee which is also and appetite surpressant and a diuretic it stands to reason that when you quit smoking your body will be crave the food it has been deprived of. The trick is replacing the unhealthy habits with their exact opposites. Replace that cigerette with a water bottle, glass, or mug. I have a professor that does that. Not only do you have something in your hand, but you will be flushing out some of the 40 years worth of toxins built up from those wonderful cigerettes. You are most definatly here for a purpose. I do not believe life is ever spared for no reason! Again I say congragulations!!!

I think the above website has great information but still does not cover the issue of grain and water shortages that are inevitable at the world's current pace of usage.

Brandon do not take this the wrong way as I am not picking on you. However, your arguement is one of the main arguements for E85 production and is what the general public thinks about based on what they are told concerning overall benefits. The truth is that your average person knows as much about E85 production as the GM commercials show, this is just the tip of the iceberg and does not include all the negatives that come along with it.

Well Brandon I did not want to over elaborate, Yes this is all going to bring about a whole new relm of geopolitics and I cannot Imagine a war over scarce resources being avoidable considering the current trends. Not that past wars have not had energy oriented aspects as underlying hidden motives. However I must adamantly disagree that because E85 produces less polution it is a good solution. The cost to produce E85 it is high and when combined with the possibility of grain scarcity, it will cost as much or more to purchase then the cost of the scarce oil it replaced. E85 and other bio-fuels are also less efficient then gasoline by far, they require huge amounts of water to produce which is a fast growing problem, and it contributes to rising food costs and scarcity. That said, while being much better for the environment that would be the least of the concerns in regards to full fledged E85 and bio-fuel production. Read the stats you will be amazed about how E85 is just another way to contribute to the problem rather then the solution. Forgive me if this is harsh but I am sick of much expert research being hidden and avoided when it comes to educating the general public about energy concerns. If we continue our growth as a world of resource depleting consumers, it will not take 30 years for the most important resources of all to be depleted to the point that some consuming nations will have to be eliminated in order to leave enough supply for the others. I for one do not want to have to deal with these concerns at the age of 54 even if it did take 30 years to come about.

Hey ZZZero I am somewhat of a bassist. I started on guitar but played bass in a band for a couple of years then in church. I play guitar and piano mostly just because I sold my bass equipment. I have been playing around on a few of the new basses on the market and I have the say the Cort A5 can't be beat even when spending twice as much and that is in comparison with several high end warwick, alembic, Ibanez, Spector, carvin, and ick fender. College and a business take all my time and money right now though so I play the piano because thats whats in front of me and hope to bring my guitar back to TN next time I go to my parents house.

do not forget to post your results looks like that could be pretty cheap for dipping large parts.... Hmmm.
