    I saw that nowwhat commercial tonight. I couldn't tell if it was a stripped 2+2 or possibly an MGB-GT, or maybe even a Volvo P1800...I wish it were posted on youtube somewhere so I could get a better look.

    Haha i looked all over the internet for that video, doesnt seem to be uploaded anywhere...

    How much do you want for the fiberglass headlight buckets? Are they in good condition?

    Sorry to see the damage to your Z but glad you're OK. When it comes time to start putting it back together drop me a PM. I'm in Orlando and have an after market drivers side quarter panel, fiberglass headlight buckets, two fenders that aren't bad but need a little rust repair at the bottom. They're just sitting in my storage unit and I promise to give you a fair price.

    Welll right now im waiting on an intercooler to come in... finishing the turbo l28et swap, then im gonna move onto the bodywork, but all of the body kit has been purchased...

    If you can, please take pictures and post progress on your bucket conversion. If it looks feasible, I may do the same. Just by looking at it, the JCR buckets seem shorter and wider, but the length may be an illusion caused by the extra width. I work with a guy that used to make molds for fiberglass production, he may be able to make a pair of molds if I had a pair of stock buckets to work with. I'd have to imagine it would be easier to mold in glass buckets, rather than metal buckets on glass fenders. hmm...:hs:

    actually, what I want to see, is someone build a car that looks like you describe, but with something like an SR20det swap under the hood haha. make it look as stupid as you can inside and out, but make it a beast in disguise

    Accually prior to this i looked for led tail lights and "jdm" taillights(red on the top, all white on the bottum)... i still think this would be a good idea but, most of the led taillights i seen on a s30 they just had random led bulbs filling up the lenz space... i think it should have led bulbs outlining the lenz and maybe two rows inbetween the oval "outline" of the lenz. All of my ideas are usually too complicated, far fetched, and probably will never happen though.

    i don't like either personally.. i think that the stock housings with either some clear red lenses or led lighting would look pretty awsome. but then again who cares about my .02

    im installing the jcr kit on my z... only change will be is im going to cut out the square headlight buckets... and have circular ones like stock put in.

    Yeah, this car is pretty unique. It came with the origional JCR catalogue and in there it said the kit was made to fit all Z's including 2+2. I'm not sure if the ducts on the rear fenders were customized to be longer, but it looks right. The women freakin love this thing, I got at least 3 compliments from chicks today while I was out in the sweet weather were having.:cool:

    rustrocket- yeah dude i noticed that too, the pizza scene... haha bad food to stay lean. His arms gotta be at least 20" though...

     

    carfan- At the end of the movie i was like, "he looks very familiar,.... AHHHHH! doh' ". Makes me look forward to the sequel.
