i would say yes to the fog lights cause, for 1: i personally like them. 2: they're different. and 3: well, mostly cause they're different and not everyone has them

i got my head back from the shop today and will putting it together as soon as possible. while i like all kinds of cars the z will be my one car that i am "passionate" about. i love the car and everything about it. but i realized i have not drove or even rode in a running z:( . i know its sad, but i cant imagine how much i'll love..or "hate" the thing when i can finally drive it!

mount it right behind the cab and make it a wheelstander just like the little red wagon. I've seen that thing in person and there's nothing like watching a truck carry the wheels all the way down the 1/4!

this is how i bought the car. all i've done is remove the huge wing that was on it. future plans are to make the tail panel flush with the back of the car, remove the stupid bumper, install some flush mounted round tail lights, paint the fender mirrors black and remount them in the correct position, install a full front spoiler, and maybe that bre 3 peice rear spoiler. not sure how it would look with the pantera hatch, but i think it would look good. then lower the car,and paint it, thinking about black with a stripe that starts on the hood buldge and goes all the way back in the original color blue that the car was painted. as far as the engine goes i will eventually go L28et. OK so thats the direction my buildup is gonna go! i think i would like to put it in the wind tunnel with and without the spoiler. im very curious on how the pantera hatch effects the car.

i couldnt agree more, not that i dont like the way the s13 looks in a z, i just favor old school looks. which is why i have a s30 instead of a s13

dont listen to me! lol. all i know is what i learned at UTI. and i havent done much since then. but now that i think bout it we started 80 grit to remove paint and went up to 120, primered then went to 220, painted and took care of the rest with wet sanding the clear. i think. but if we werent removing the paint we'd just scuff it with a scotch bright pad. sound bout right to ya'll?

400 grit? isnt that kinda fine. i always go to 120 grit when prepping for the first coat of paint.

i would say they look good enough to keep on there now. looks real sharp!

i have a ? about sqweezing a stock l28. i read in a thread that 100 shot was ok fer stock but then someone was talking bout a 25 shot on each intake runner,which would be like a 150 shot. providing you dont lean it out, is this realistic fer a stock l28? im thinking about the juice fer my z until i can biuld a respectable engine, but have never liked it as a "main" power adder.

my thinking is to drive the stang and build another motor fer it on the side. im also selling my 96 z71 to get a civic for my wife to get out of payments. my debt has gotten pretty bad so im tryin to start put fresh

i havent had my z long but im in a position where i need to let it go. so i have decided to sell it and build my 89 2.3l mustang with a turbo swap,as soon as i get the bills caught up, goin fer about 350 to 400hp. i also have a baby on the way. after the baby gets a little older and not so expensive, i plan on getting another z. i know more about the 2.3 ford then the l28, plus i know how to do it fairly cheap, so thats why im doin the stang fer now. in the mean time tho i will be here gathering up all the infinite knowledge that this board has to offer.when i do get another z i will know exactly what to do and exactly what i want. although i hate to get rid of my 77. it has a lot of really good bodywork done to it including the pantera conversion, which i love but cant say i'll do on my next z. if anyone is interested in my 77 they can send me a pm. soooo... what are ya'lls thoughts on this? i mean i already made the decision but what would you have done? i could've stuck it out but my z would have ended up setting fer a long time and the build time would have been an eternity.

yes im FER real, when i got my 77 i parked it in the cage at work ( i work at a ford dealership). and this dude i work with decided he wanted one too even though he's a die hard chevy guy. so itold him where two i knew of were, one a 77 fer $1500, and the other the 2+2 fer $300, so he got the 2+2, he got tired of it pretty quick tho, so i offered to trade two 12 inch subs i got from a friend fer it and he said yes, so here i am with a pretty freakin decent car fer nothin. i dont even know what kind of speakers they were. oh.. and then he went and traded his beat up 89 s10 plus $2200 fer a 91 hatch thats lowered with a fart pipe?? its in good shape and he's a nice guy but i must say...WTF!!

i just traded a set of 12 inch speaker's fer a 78 280z 2+2! it runs but not over 3500 rpm. the body is good except fer a spot behind the left wheel well. the interior is perty nice too. my plans right now are to sand it down, fix the rust, take off the front bumper at least, maybe the back one too if i feel like welding up the old hole's. then flat blacking it and turning it into my daily driver so i can start putting a lot of time and money into my 77. P.S. i didnt pay anything fer the speakers either! got them fer helping a friend, so i got this car fer free.

you make me sick! i paid tooo much fer mine but i had to have it.77 not running....$1000. but it has a lot of good body work on it. has a little passenger side floorpan rust, but thats it.
