  1. They are all polished, the one's ordered anyway.

I believe the top one is lubed via the chain, oil will creep up and down the chain, and it has a bearing of some sort in there.

The tension seems to be something you can adjust, when Yo2001 translates the manual for me, then I will know more.

I am not sure why they don't send them here, perhaps the language barrier is one hurdle, not to mention it wasn't exactly cheap to get it here. Not that I am complaining, but like I said, you can get a BHJ balancer cheaper.

I am telling you, it is one sweet looking piece. I really do hate the thought of putting something that nice in there. Kind of like my Ross forged pistons when they came in.

I cannot wait to get it in there, with the BHJ balancer, and a fresh head, and see what it does. Its not like I expect major HP gains, but, it should go along way towards making things more accurate timing wise. Maybe reduce some friction? I think so.

  2. Well I hate to ask this, but why would I need to contact anyone, I have the part? HAHA

Actually the idea did occur to me, but in the spirit of being ethical and honest, I felt like copying someone elses design, and then selling it while they don't benefit wouldn't be fitting. So its going in my engine.

I guess when you have an idea or something and someone steals it and the glory for it from you, and they benefit, then you see why.

  3. I don't have any way to host the pic's, sorry, but it is sweet looking.

As for purchasing, the supplier has not told me it was ok to reveal who, and I am going to respect his annonimity. Lets just say its not the easiest part to come up with unless you have someone that has a relationship with them, they don't like shipping to the USA.

Its so pretty, I almost hate to install it and get it dirty. :D

    Bastaad, check here.

  4. I ran an H3, and I liked it, but the E wheels are more efficient, and would be a better choice. The H3 is old technology. Also I found the H did not run well until I was making 12+ psi, the 60 trim I have now runs a lot better with lower boost, and really comes alive as the boost gets up there.

Also, don't buy one from turbonetics, you can always flame James friend if he does you wrong, and make an impact, not so with turbonetics.

  5. Standard issue t3/t4e hybrid will work. Go with a stage 3 turbine in a .63 AR housing, run a 50 or 60 trim TO4E compressor wheel in a 50 or 60 AR compressor housing.

50 AR compressor housing may fit better. If you want to get froggy, you can use a 60-1 compressor wheel, and upgrade to a Stage 5 turbine, use the same housings.

The stage 3 will spool well, the stage 5 will be a little slower, but smoother in response.

  6. Yeah I will get you their number. If you bush them for floaters, you need to do that after you shot peen them, its easier for them.

I have 240 rods in my engine, prepped per the How to hot rod you nissan book, bushed, polished, shotpeened, 2 oil holes drilled, and ARP rod bolts. They are supposed to be good to 600 hp, and they looked really nice when I got them peened.

Just don't be in a big hurry, they do good work, it takes time, and its not exactly cheap, but it wasn't bad if I recall. I think I had 400 bucks in mine, and I polished them myself. Everyone liked my polish job.

The guy who did the majority of my machine work said the rods were good to 5 to 10 psi as prepped.

  7. According to him, Rebello does believe that 400HP is do-able

As a devoted NA guy (turbos are for lazy engine builders :D ) I would love to see that come true.

Lets see you bust 129mph in the quarter like some lazy engine builder.

I want one of those idler pulley things, someone figure out how to order one, and I will order it.

  8. The rings from advance are sealed power and are nice rings. There is nothing wrong with stock ones if you can still get them.

Also a good set, from what I have heard is the Hastings XC.

The main thing you need to stay away from if you want a lot of boost is cast iron ones. They seat the best, but are brittle.

I would use stock or sealed power rings.

  9. I have talked to JT, and the car made some wicked power, there is no doubt about it, but here is the LJ bottom line. No matter how much it makes, it doesn't do you much good if it won't do it RELIABLY.

You want that kind of power, you need 550cc injectors, or you are asking for blown engines.

One other thing that big number won't tell you, how was it to drive. Stock injection sucks, just go try a Z31 or JWT and you won't believe the difference. A properly tuned stand alone is even better.

If you cannot buy what you need to thrash it, wait until you can. I have hammered on my engine for 6 years, and have gone thru turbo's, and now a headgasket, but as far as I know, everything else is good.
