  1. Okay so, how do i connect four wires to the six injectors? I know its a bank injection system but how exactly do i get power or a signal to each injector? Im just really confused, ive seen one to many diagrams... Youve all been a great help btw. I wouldnt have gotten this far without hybridz.
  2. I have the housing with like 4 sensors in it, so i should be able to make anything work. Another thing, in the DIY harness there are two green wires (bank 2) and two blue wire (bank one). Do the blue wires go to one, three, and six? Or is it the green wires that go to one, three, and six?
  3. Is there a certain GM coolant sensor i should get, like one that will thread into the stock spot? Or will i have to tap my own?
  4. Yes i went for the wide band o2 (MTX-L digital gauge system), not complety neede but i read it makes tunning much much eaiser. Your right, this place is pretty flat. Can i not use the stock coolant sensor? I canat wait to get this started, this is a great forum.
  5. this is what i ordered after talking to the guys at DIY. i thinks its a pretty basic setup but sould get me started. Thanks, Taylor.
  6. I suppose i could use one from DIYautotune? The cas that is.
  7. haha duragg! So If the stock CAS on the 81 wont work and the internal CAS distributor on the 82, 83 wont work, what should i use for the CAS? I keep reading about everyone useing GM sensors but i just dont even know where to start.
  8. Well wont the tps off like a 95 240sx work? One other thing.. when you say "wire the distributor" you mean wire it to the megasquirt ecu, right? I was also thinking of using the distributor with the CAS with the megasquirt. right now i have the 81 style with the trigger wheel and external CAS.
  9. Iv been doing a lot of reading about MS and have talked a little to the guys at DIYautotune.com. I was just wondering just how had it really is to install. Ive got an 78 280 with a l28et swap. Alos how many of the stock sensors from the motor can i use with megasquirt. Thanks, Taylor.
  10. none taken, thanks for the links. One more thing, can you use an ECU from a 82 l28et if its an manual on my motor (81 l28et)?
  11. Well the car is actually a 78, i was mistaken. And yes i used Skittle's info to do the swap. I have a multimeter but im not to good with it. If you could tell mw how to test with it or what setting to put it on that would be awesome!
  12. I dont think it doest stay on while cranking but ill double check. I even did the HEI swap and still nothing. Im so confused..
  13. Alright guys im having a really tough time getting spark, ive checked and double checked every ground and every splice for the cause but still nothing. The car is a 76 280 and the motor is the l28et out of an 81. It was running untill i went around and redid the wiring the right way. Could it be the ECU? the little green light is on so i know its getting power but the coil isnt sending spark to the plugs. Any ideas? Thanks
  14. i know this is an old post but is that yellow/white stripe wire that goes to the igniter supposed to always be hot or just when the ignition is on?
