Ive thrown together a handful of Ford swaps. All of them are still driving around as far as I know. Done 302's and a few 2.3L Turbo Fords, however Ive sold them all but will be building another soon!
Its already been posted for you what years to look for. Here in CA the 1992 Mustang also had forged pistons. There are a lot of builds off these forged roller blocks making 300HP with worked over GT40 factory heads and the right cam carb and intake.
Ive done this swap into a 240z 3 times now. The best one was pushing 400hp and still got over 40mgp. Made for an incredible car. Im thinking about doing it again in the next coming months.
There is a member on the forum that had pictures posted of a 4.6 in a 240z I think it was. It fits but just barely. There are several companies now that make stand alone engine harnesses for the 4.6 and will reflash your ecu. Has to be done to get past the factory anti theft system.
My next Z is gonna get a supercharged 4.6
So datrod do you have any rough idea of when all the pieces will be finished and shipped off to Johnc? I know things happen, but I just want to plan ahead. Do you think it will be a week or a month is the answer Im looking for.

So John, do you have any kind of time-line for run completion and payment and such? Not expecting any concrete days, just need to plan my finances as I will be buying a pair in the first run.
