  1. Bill is still to this day a valued friend and mentor. If only there were more like him to go around.... the world would be a better place.

  2. oh, yeah I know most of the guys at autocross, Ive raced mine in the SCCA for along time. Bill Dicus was in your club im guessing?

  3. hey, I heard you guys were in missoula and had a Z car club, Im located here as well. let me know when you guys have a meeting or want to go cruise!

    Thanks,

    Sean

  4. It seems to me that trying to drive this thing would be a rough ride to say the least... how on earth could you keep from high centering on a tossed bottle cap!
  5. Still interested in my Turbo engine???

  6. Hey, Its good to see theres more interest in Z cars in montana. We have a few here in great falls. We don't have a club here ,but that could change.

  7. Im still looking for my donor car.... but cant wait to start my conversion.
  8. Man I want your power-train for my early Z. Does your car run more freeley with all of the smog eqiupment removed?
  9. Im in western Montana but have relatives in Glendive and Circle as well as Fallon.. I might make a trip your way this summer.
  10. I paid $2400.00 a year ago for a really nice one that had been sitting in a barn in east Washington state for years... lucky for me the original owner got some ambition and replaced every part of the brakes- calipers-rotor-drums-wheel cylinders- all hardware and vac booster plus braided lines.. he had replaced 90% of all the rubber on the car with the exception of the window mouldings. The car was bone stock, down to the impact bumper shocks which are also new. Since the day I brought it home I have been doing this and that and keeping track of the cost of "upgrades" and mods.. so far includeing the car im $3984.94 into it with the konig rewinds and tires "proxis4's. I am planning an SR20det swap this spring and am bugeting $3200.00 for the completed swap.. however I am an ASE master tech and am savy in the engine bay. Good luck with yours
  11. You folks are begining to scare me becuase I hate my KYB's... I am about to buy the tokico set up, however I am now having reservations. So what is the verdict ????? Are the Tokico's to low for daily drivers... beware I live in rural Montana and the roads here are maintained for 4X4's. 3 1/2" of clearance will not keep me from disappearing into a pothole up here! It seems there are more problems with 260's and of course mine is an early 74. I really only want to drop about an inch and stiffen it up a bit. I am not looking to "slam" it. So those of you with the set up that seems to work, how much lower are your cars than stock height? Thanks ------------------- Kirk
  12. Well, Here we are 5 years later and has he begun the build? Anybody? Hello. All is quiet in Bonneville? He has obviously been inspired... by whoom I have no idea. But good luck with that.
