  1. I think that using VW markers would be a great idea. I would shave off the front and rears on the Zed and relocate/replace with the VW marker behind the front wheel. I think that would look trick. 8)
  2. I've been into airsoft since i was 15 (im 23 now). But ive since stopped for some time. I started out with springers, moved onto gas blowbacks, then AEG (automatic electric guns). At one time i think i had 16 guns ranging from springers to electrics. I played EVERY weekend for 2 years on a paintball field (we founded an airsoft team here). Its a nice hobby, but it can get expensive Neways, $85 bucks for a gas blowback is pretty good, but i dont think that KJW is a good brand. If you're just going to plink with it instead of playing competitively, i suggest you go for simple computer duster. It's cheaper, easy to come by and still works IIRC, only some of the brands can take green and red gas, b/c they can handle the power. (Think of it like a 50 shot of NOS vs a 100 shot of NOS). I'll take some pics of what i have if i get off my butt to do it Try this website for more airsoft info: http://www.planetairsoft.net
  3. Same school/class? What style JJ? Different schools, my style is called can-ryu, more of a western spin on classical japanese jiujitsu.
  4. Sorry to hear about the Zed. A similar thing happened to me outside my dojo! (but thankfully with my other car). If we had seen the guy there would've been a dozen jiujitsu-ka's twisting him into a pretzel
  5. My little brother does it, it looks interesting, i wish i had time for it (currently taking jiujitsu and hapkido now). But it looks like it has a bigger learning curve than some of the other martial arts.
  6. Whoah! Sorry to hear about your car. You don't need me to tell you that it was one nice piece of machinery. I'll keep a lookout for it and post word up on my other club's (SFICC) website as well. Best of luck finding her!! Jon
  7. Can't you just combine the best of both worlds? Take really hi res pics of a plastic model Zed, put them on the computer then use those to make a 3d image?
  8. Thats gotta be sh!tty man. You can't bring it back to them? Hurts to see another fellow BC Zed get screwed over
  9. Ditto on the rear hatch, hood and the tail panel!!! I would buy these!
  10. I'm not sure if i saw it in this forum or not, but if you've got the pcture in your sig with the "womens parking spot" its HILARIOUS!
  11. I don't post that often either. Mainly because there's already a wealth of information?? hehe i dunno maybe im just shy Plus the fact im already addicted to lots of otehr forums...Mainly local ones b/c i like a "small community" type of feeling? Anyways, i didnt know there were so many new ppl here from BC! I'm in coquitlam. Is any one on any of the local 604 forums? ie: NWN, UBCSCC, SFICC, RevScene?
  12. He did mention his LT1 swapped Zed was the one doing 11's. The 327 powered one is the second hybridZ listed in his sig Neways ditto! Good job mike! Is the LT1 stock?
  13. Hey shortyz, im in coquitlam, i've been passively looking for a 400 block (chevy). Let me know when you've decided on a price
  14. Wow! Amazing! Nice to see a fellow canuck with such an impressive car! 8)
  15. Hey that place is right by my house!
  16. I think someone up here has done the swap. Maybe Ross can back me up on this? The guy's name is Peter Shrek, been kicking ass in the mod class in autoX for a while now
  17. Ditto on the front lip
  18. Hmm, i would nix the celica head lights also. Imo, Zeds (yes im a Canuck ) have always looked the best when they're wasp-bodied. Dan Juday's comes to mind 8) If you've got money to burn, why not just go all out and have a full carbon fibre front clip made, windshield to bumper. Then complete it with headlights that look like a TVR speed 6 and throw on a rear like Terry's or Big Phils.
  19. Speaking of Sylvania's did anyone happen to take a look at these? http://www.sylvania.com/xenarc/x60246054.htm The site says it's supposed to fit the 240Z, pretty much a direct replacement for the stock lamp.
  20. I've seen that for sale up here before, but not on the street. I'm kindof leery of the sunroof tho
  21. Hey shortyz! Nice to see a fellow RS'er in here. I remember your 240 in the background a pic of the civic project.
  22. That blue 240 is from Vancouver, Canada. I think the owners name is Rick? He's been in several of the big import car shows up here
