Whats the stock timing for a 83 L28ET motor?

it did move back farther than my 4- speed. my 4- speed had a duel bend shifter to put it in the center. and on my engine mounts are custom made to fit the trans my motor mounts moved my engine forwards a little.

Im wondering what kind of power can u get out of a 3.0l n/a motor i have been researching but i cant find eny thing on it im trying to decide on a 3.0l turbo or 3.0l n/a.

ya i know but people still dont think ist a jdm trans but on my scca papers theres a number like identification number and its 531 and the trans has that number scorched on the bell housing. so i know it has to be true. now i need a buyer.

i found the papers on the scca car the trans came out of the ratios are 2.956 2nd 1.857 3rd 1.311 4th 1.000 5th .852

i dont know the rear end ratio but it has an lsd from the race car and i have the scca papers on the trans. ill have to find them.

Its a close gear ratio transmission and i can hear the fifth gear making the whining noise like raceing transmissions. i looked up a roadster trans and there shorter than a z and the bell housing is rotated.

I do know that the transmission came from a race 240z.

Here are the pics i took of the rear of the transmission there not the best due to it being installed on my car. but you can tell by the shifter and how the drive shaft bolts up.

Its a 240z five speed a- type because its not a borge warner trans the case looks like a early 240z case but there's a fifth gear and there short im doing 60 at almost 3k in fifth. I only ask because i mite sell my l28et and the trans to do a rb or sr engine in my car. If u know someone that mite be intrested in buying just point them to me.

Im just woundering what a 240z 5-speed transmission would go for.

its a good downpipe i got one on mine and it sounds mean with no exhaust i gained more hp with this downpipe over the stock one
