cool project and even better father-son pic!

we should all have a nice socal peeps cruise sometime... up the PCH... some lunch at neptunes... mulholland drive after? lol
I have to agree though, for not much more you can have a rb25 and its a much better platform than the 20.... id go sr20 instead of the rb20.
-
series one can also fire series 2 coilpacks... its like blood tybe AB while series 2 is a universal donor lol. That said I would pick up whichever motor looks the best... spin them with a ratchet from the crank and see what the compression feels like and look under the valve cover for signs of a negligent owner. Comp test would be nice but it not always feasible unless you got a spare battery handy!

possible pinhole head gasket leak causing exhaust gas to get into coolant system... doesn't always show up as coolant in oil when the gasket goes. You could use a radiator test kit which checks for exhaust gasses in the cooling system to rule it out.

Pretty good actually considering you are on the track. Whats ambient temp like?

Im in the valley

Ill take a pair!

It gets pretty close to the inner fender but I managed to make it work. I used a 3.5-3" 45 degree coupler as Rayaapp2 described and ran my throttle body sideways, having the cable hidden under the manifold which saved up some room on the side.

That looks sweeeet!
I'd love the file if you don't mind emailing it, I like to do cad work and its just interesting to me My email is tooft77 at yahoo dot com

Fuel pump intermittently cutting out? When the car is stumbling is the fuel pressure reading correctly?

Looking real nice man, keep up the good work!

I was hoping you wouldn't notice

why's that lol

My s30 gets sideways pretty easy

In all reality it wont even matter how you wire it up because polarity doesn't matter on the profec solenoid

Small spring?

Ill help you out bud, I pm'd you back!

If you only have s13 coilovers on your Z then it wont effect the overall width of your car. The control arms and knuckle still are from your Z so nothing has changed, just the strut assembly which doesn't change track.
If you swapped the complete rear subframe from an S13 for instance then you will need to buy different rims since the s13 is a lot wider. With those offsets even flares wouldn't cover the tires.

All types of fun im closer to 400 though so I can only imagine

The sidefeed yellowtop injectors from a USDM subaru STI are a direct plug in other than the injector clip which needs to be modified to fit. They were flow tested at 525cc and they fit the sr20, ka and RB side feed rails perfectly. I've personally ran them on every one of those motors lol.

According to this it will bolt on... should be a killer setup on twins

Yeah, ATP rocks lol

twin gt28rs with the smaller compressor housings would be perfect. Or even two s15 gt28r would be pretty wicked in spooling fast yet flowing enough for ~550 and they are cheap too!
Here's a link to garrett's website, they make a direct bolt on turbo in the gt2860 model actually. each on supports 350 so it should get you close to your goals

Beautiful work... what turbo are you going to be running? What kind of numbers are you going for?
