  1. Z31s have single exhaust, on the LHS of the car, and its impossible to do dual without a fuel cell or something similar due to its 19 gallon gas tank taking all the room in the back except for a tiny but of space on the LHS for the muffler. That said, I've seen more S130s with dual exhaust done than Z31s.

Well..cant say its impossible, its been done. I wouldn't do it, because the RHS pipes would be super close to the gas tank, and it'd be a PITA to do it with anything but a fart can or straight pipes.

280zx tanks are the same way (except they are 21 gallon tanks)But to me it would make more sense for a 300zx to have a dual system as the VG is dual bank.

That being said I can't think of a single s130 that I have seen with dual exhaust. Plenty of s30's though.

  2. While you have a valid point, I think a large issue is the fact that many of the new comers are young. Maybe I am incorrect, but typically the lack of spelling and proper grammar is coming from a younger generation. I understand your point but I think we need to guide them better in the form(forum?). I do see the difficulties in doing this. Maybe not all of them. All I am trying to get at is, we can't just say, "Well, you didn't even bother to search, you're stupid."

Spelling and grammar doesn't have much to do with being young IMO. If anything the more youthful you are, to a certain extent, the more in touch you should be with modern MLA. To prove this go look at Ratsun.net, most of those guys there are at least 30 years of age and that place has some of the worst spelling and grammar on the net.

Edit: And to the OP... I believe the word you were looking for was "too".

  3.

Let me break this down barney style...

Say you are lost in a crowded subway and need help finding the bathroom.

Scenario #1: you walk into the middle of a crowded place and yell "I need to find a bathroom" You will get a lot of looks, but people will just ignore you all together, be sarcastic, be a smart ass..etc

Scenario #2: you walk into the middle of a crowded place, find someone and ask gently "Excuse me, I have been looking all over and I can't find the restroom, can you point me in the right direction?" now generally courtesy shown firstly will be rewarded with courtesy shown back.

    Anyone catching my drift?

Actually... If you inquired gently I don't believe anyone in a crowded subway would hear you.

    Catch my drift? :P

  4. Not sure if I understand your post or your point???

    Ok lets break it down!!!

I first asked you a question. "You bought it?" referring to the 280zx that you posted. That requires a simple yes or no.

Then I stated "That car has been for sale for a while." (Ok how do i break this down into simpler terms...)

    Ok.

Metal gray thing with wheels and turbo you may or may not have attained has been up for public purchase for quite a while now. (this requires no input from you, you can however acknowledge the statement.)

  5. i paid 200 bucks for that valve cover a few years ago! nice find...very jdm!

Was the one you bought powder coated?

I want to clean it up but I don't want someone to be turned off from buying it because

A ) they want it coated and I have polished it or

B ) They want it polished and I have it coated.....

  6. All of the 'NISSAN' valve covers that I have seen have come on the import engines. I bought a few L28's back in the 90's from an engine importer and they had those valve covers.I don't think any made it onto US engines, but you never know. An interesting side note is that both of the engines were F54 flat top P90a engines with the Nissan ECCS system. Probably out of a Cedric or Laurel would be my guess. They also both had the dual throttle plate throttle body and intake as well.

Hmmm maybe I need to look at this car a little closer.
