Mine measures from the the middle of furthest point on the seat when its down to the rear interior light panel 53 1/2 inches and 48 inches wide at the widest point and 2 feet from the bases of the rear shock towers. I would love to see some measurements from yours or someone elses Zx I'm just curious and I Hope I'm not thread jacking to much, If you want to send me a pm with measurements that would be better.
Hmm looks closer than I thought but I still think there might be another 10-12 inches in the s130 2+2.
Ill check tomorrow, I think I have a tape measure in my glove box.
-
The S30 2+2 has way more room in the back with the seats folded down, I would have thought it would be the other way but My 2+2 has tons of room. Perfect for long trips and traveling.
Actaulllyy, you're wrong bud. You're seeing my speaker box there. (my quite large speaker box)
I can still sit a 20 gallon cooler in there.
And Im 6'1" and I was able to make out with my ex pretty reasonably back there.

Because I like the wagon more...

Also why get carbon fiber if your not going to show it? Lots of money spent just for saving not very much weight.
If you get CF show it .
I just thought this quote deserved a second shot at stardom.

Idk how it is in Indiana but in GA it is mandatory you take a drivers Ed class to get your license. I can see how the Indiana statistics can be amiss because those who have taken that drivers ed course may be those who were in severe need of basic driving skills. (there were kids in my class that had at the age or 16 NEVER driven a car, they did not know how to shift it, nor ever conceived using a blinker or handbrake.)
I don't see why it needs to be changed/overhauled, has driving changed that much in 30 years? (I mean hell the video we used on the simulators was from he 70's lol)

and id ditch those stock bumpers if i were you, itll make it quicker by saving you alot of weight. and look better, best part is....its free =)
And hella legal!

headers can increase engine noise unless you want that.
A header won't necessarily increase engine noise by itself. An exhaust system will. (By engine noise I assuming you mean exhaust dB? Because as far as engine bay and passenger compartment there was virtually no difference except for a change in tone when I installed mine.)

I don't get what's so funny? That looks like a Porsche 935 with vented wheels that fan heat away from the brakes. Yes, they are functional...
Because of the stretchhhh.

Holy Cow folks I don't visit my thread for like 3 days and you destroy it? I swear its gonna take me all day to clean up this mess
.
As sticky said I have 3 kids and this is the daily driver, I have a turbo charged 280z that if I feel the need for speed I can just in her as they are both reliable enough in their current state to drive daily. However the Z is not track worthy as the brakes need work before that (I mainly mean pads/shoes?). 280zx 2by2 I am on ratsun in fact I have posted in several discussions you have. The wagon is going to be a great car just to drive around in I am not setting it up for tracking in fact I am going to see if I can get 3 seat belts in the back for the kids to ride around with me because that would be AWESOME. The kids haven't even seen the wagon yet as they have been visiting grand parent since the first of the month. I am planning on in the future dropping her a little to make her more visually pleasing to me!
Then you should know the advantages of the 280zx strut assembly swap already. (brakes!)

Thought I would post this for the lols.

I suggest you visit ratsun.net if you do get the car.

I give up trying to explain my sarcasm to you. Yes, I friggin love JDM cars
You make me sad for your generation.
I guessed you missed all of my sarcasm? I mean damn, I was laying it on pretty thick there Mr. Pantybuncher.
You and sticky280zx should have a talk, and you should read the suspension tech thread in the s130 section.
PS: Obvious troll not obvious enough?
-
Okay so according to you - it is not cool to
1. Make the car hellaflush
2. Drift
3. Race the car at sanctioned events
What do you do with your car?
I drive it to work and laugh at JDuMb fan boys like you everyday.
^^^ True story.
-
lol you even quoted it XD
1. Go highlight the entire text block of my comment.
2. Get your very very tight panties out of a bunch.
I race my car(s) at least once a month. Do you??
Again drifting isn't racing bro, and who cares if you "race" your car every month? Do you want a cookie?
-
I have no idea how your comment is relevant
I post a video of a Mercedes wagon racing after you said to slam the car ['hellaflush'] because a wagon couldn't be a racecar.
seen = past version of "see"
scene = "culture" or mentality of a group of like-minded people
I love hellaflush. If you don't like it you can take your hate elsewhere. I park on racetracks to take pictures, what's up?
[if you don't get the joke, you're incredibly dense. Notice my huge sig picture of me racing my car.]
Cool ferrafrush story bro.
PS: Drifting is not racing JDM fanboy.
-
Hmmm?
You're whats wrong with kids these days... Doing everything backasswards.
I bet you like the "hellaflush" seen too right?
-
Drop it all the way to the ground, because its a wagon, not a racecar.
-
No that one I wouldn't do purple, I'd do it some other color
BS, you would just add sparkles and say it was a different color you liar!
-
pull it and give it to me.
So you can powder coat it purple? nty.
-
Soooo no one knows? :/
-
older style l28 valve cover... pull it and sell it
But off of what older L28? Because this one is on an 83 zx, one of the last L28's to be put in cars besides the maximas.
All L28's I have seen have the "Nissan OHC" with the stripes, and every once in a while you see these. And I have heard people call them "JDM" but that doesn't seem logical considering the amount that are actually around (and the fact that im in South GA doesn't seem to lead to that conclusion either)
-
Is this worth pulling out of the junk yard? And what is it from exactly?
-
IMO you should have just did the hood, fenders seem a little much to me, just my $0.02.

Street Mods for stock 280Z?
in S30 Series - 240z, 260z, 280z

I used the MSA header with aerospace TBC coating. I decided to go ahead and get it because my stock exhaust manifold was warped and eaten away by exhaust fumes.
But after this header I have told myself I will never order a part like this again from MSA. The header didn't fit well AT ALL when it came to connecting to my stock exhaust (as far as a general location it was almost 3 inches too long and the same length to the side.) The Y-pipe did not slide onto the header the way it should. Then I had to go though a hole bunch of crap where they not only wouldn't pay for express shipping to send it back they wanted me to pay for the return shipping and, then I said I could try to get it to fit by expanding the pipes but they said no (which to me seems link of corrupt because the header or y-pipe I return should be destroyed so it shouldn't matter)I just got horrible customer service from them. Only good customer service I received was after I ordered a set of stud bolts that were the incorrect lengths I received half off of the like $20 purchase haha.
Here's the link

MSA themselves I believe do not construct the headers but like most of their other rarer products they are produced by Z car enthusiasts and sold to MSA for retail.
And I love that MSA exists as some products would be impossible to find w/o them but as they nearly hold a monopoly (besides black dragon) on Z car racing and restoration parts I could see where customer service could be put behind profit.
