I need a ecu for one of my cars is a 280zx non turbo auto 83, please pm me if you guys have one thanks.

Megasquirt has 12v, both of my injectors lights blink on the megasquirt ecu, I try using 3 different programs to load the firmware and it didnt work, I try portcheck and there is not connections, "s" is all i get from that program.

Hi all, I finally got megasquirt install in my car, but Im having some problems loading the firmware, this is what I have try all ports, different wires as a boot loader, different software from different sites. Im using windows vista with DIYautotune USB and adapter, the board is green 2.2. The set up is l28et, holset turbo with stock injectors( just to get it started), 420cc mercedez injectors low imp. I bought the complete kit from a member brand new and the instructions for wiring say v3.0 for some reason, so I wire everything like the instructions say, please help me figure out this problem, I know Im pretty close Im just not there yet, thanks.

Ok, I get your point, I didnt say it was free, $3861 still less than what most swaps cost if you do it right, if he swaps a sr20det in a z31 ins going to cost more than and get less power.

You are kidding right, go to z31performance and see it yourself, the vg30et is know for supporting over 400hp on stock internals, do your a search before you throw something out there.

I would say stay with the vg30, cheaper to get power out of, plus less mods to do= less down time. Like said above, single turbo top mount, ecu, intercooler and injectors= good 350 hp most likely more.

I had a 350z last week with the same problems but not codes, with consult check voltage operation to the tb and it was out of specs, replaced the tb, car runs great, with no problems.

For the turbo leaking oil, I was talking to a friend that deals with Holset and Garrett turbos mainly for diesels, he said that when Holsets are installed on a gas motor, they leak oil if the crankcase pressure builds up to high, because the turbo oil drain is by gravity and if the motor is building to much pressure on the oil panthe oil wont drain therefore is going to get out somewhere(mostly seen on the turbo intake pipes). Also the turbo creates presure itself, Im currently running a Holset turbo in my Z and had no problems so far, the turbo had a lil over 100k before I installed and didnt have any shaft play, Im only running 14psi. I work on diesel shops for the last 5 years and I have seen turbos leak to the intake pipes on the Fords more than anything and thats a Garrett turbo.

Im trying to buy stock turbos for the z32 90 to 96 manual or auto, please pm me if you have some of laying somewhere, they have to be in good usable condition, thanks.

I recently picked up a set of mercedes injectors but the injector plug looks like a d-jet plug, where can I get d jet connectors to work with this injectors??? I try GM connectors and it doesnt fit, please help.

Nop I sold the ecu, but it came out bad, so I kinda lost my money on that, I also bought a new complete assemble megasquirt and Im in the process of installing it.
