  1. Thanks, Brad, for backing me up, even though you're selling yours for considerably less. Boobala, are you an engineer or machinist? To make these mounts the way you want them for less than $250 would be an incredibly great deal ($250 is my reserve price, by the way), if you don't have to do the research and development work. I could do it the way you would like them done with all the radiuses and corners, but it would cost considerably more. I'm selling these because I made a few only, there's not a massive demand for these parts. I could sell them cheaper if I had hundreds of customers wanting these, so I could offset my costs (supply and demand I'm not trying to rip anyone off with that price, I think it's reasonable for the quality put into it. Oh yeah, these mounts do not bolt right onto the crossmember mounts of the car. They will bolt up to a pair of heavy duty rubber insulators, and from a machinist point of view, I don't think these mounts will crack over a few hundred hours, like you suggested. I've had mine for a few years now, and there is no wear and tear on them, because they are so thick in construction. If you can make these mounts for cheaper than $250, and the way you want them with all the radiuses, I'll buy them off you! Rick
  2. mostly will be another RB26, with more hi-pro parts with one big ass turbo, but you never know, maybe a v-8 infinity motor. Rick
  3. WoW, must coat over $1500us for that clutch assy. How is that set up feels to you, is it worth the money? I going to built another soon and thinking going twin or more, It'll be mainly for drag racing and very little street driving, I heard that OS clutch not too bad for the streets. Rick
  4. Hi Stony, I paid $650 US for it, but when I bought the new one, I found out I didn't need another one because the ceramic material from the original engine I bought was okay after all. It's been hanging around here since then. I'll sell it to you for $450 US. Let me know. If you need a pic, I can send you pictures. It's really grippy When you engage the clutch, it makes a nice grabbing sound, if you know what I mean. Thanks, Rick
  5. hi stony or brad, I have a brand new nismo ceramic four puck clutch for sale for my skyline R32 motor, you may want to buy the pressure plate from nismo. if you guys need it, I'll sell it. Rick
  6. Hi Brad Just let me know then, I know they charge at about $300 to $350 us. I can make one for you for $250 can. If you want some pics, let me know. Rick
  7. Hi guys I made up some billet alum mounts for Skyline motors (RB-26) to 240z conversions, if anyone wants a pair, please let me know ASAP. I only have three pairs left, they will cost $250 + shipping and insurance. I don't know how to paste some pics on this page, but I can send you some pics if anyone is interested. Thanks Rick
  8. Hey Brad I noticed you are still using the stock fuel rail, would you like me to machine you up a custom high volume alum fule rail? Rick
  9. Hey guys, this is becoming a personal thing, not a car related topic anymore, that is not nice.
  10. Hi Bob, I don't mind giving some advice, but when all said and done, most don't do the conversion after all cause it went over their budget, that just p%$$es me off. What I do now is give them some start and offer them some conversion parts to see if they are really serious. This one is for Zachb55, where did you get the skyline engine pic from? Maybe from L&R Racing, did you know I built that car? Would be nice if you made some reference to it on your website Something like "For engine mounts or custom Z parts, e-mail Rick at infinitymachining@shaw.ca" What do you think?? Rick
  11. Look Bob, If you don't want to give any advice to anyone, don't respond. You don't have to make any nasty comments . I'm probably the first guy who did the Skyline engine to 240Z conversion in north America , It was not easy at all, but looking back, It would be nice if some one could give some advise. Rick
  12. Hi there I've made some extra mounts for my RB26-dett conversion in my 70 240Z. If you are intrested, let me know and I'll sent you some pics. Rick
  13. Hey John, what are you looking in the TURBO section, I though you said you don't like Turbo motors, My point of view is that anyone can go out there and get a nice paint job and get their parts chromed, well, any one can do that, there are not too many of us can make our own parts, and make our go fast. I think the mod class is for Performance only, not for chrome parts. BTW, I like your car too, just love the way it sounds and the fuel injection system. Hey Michael, Got home on monday afternoon, what a drive. Got a little problem at the customs. Later guys
  14. Hey guys, I'm making some mounts right now, 50% complete, so if you want some let me know. Since I'm making a few at the same time, I can cut my price down to $250 US plus shipping. If anyone is interested, email me. I have some pics of the engine with mounts listed in the gallery, or you can try these links: http://www.hybridz.org/phpBB2/album_pic.php?pic_id=147 http://www.hybridz.org/phpBB2/album_pic.php?pic_id=142 Thanks, Rick Infinity Machining North Vancouver, BC Canada
  15. I have-had a skyline GTR engine in my 240z also, alot of guys wants to do same, but after reply with how much to do the conversion, they never reply back. ITS NOT CHEAP TO DO IT. If anyone wants to do it them self, I can also machine some billet alum mounts for you. As for the transmisson mounts, different year of your Z has different mounting locations. Maybe we can work that out later. Thanks Rick
  16. Hi Brad. Just sold my other turbo z today. I've always loved z cars, so The next car will be a z again. Hopefully I can start a new project soon. Keep in touch Rick
  17. Hi Brad, I have a RB26 in mine also, I have 255-40-17 in the back. Have not taken it out to the track yet, I'm sure it will do low 11's. It's going to a buyer in San Diego, so he'll be getting back to me on how it does. Rick
