I'm in the process of rebuilding a l28et with p90 head. I'm not really up grading internals just refreshing the motor with new parts and machine work. I ordered the msa performance spring set just to substitue for the oem springs and didn't read the part that said "for use with performance cam only." will i cause harm to the head if i use my stock cam or am i forced to upgrade to use the springs?

I'm looking for a complete l28et swap in California(if possible the bay area). When i say complete i mean in running condition, both harnesses, ecu, afm,motor with everything attached for the most part. don't need the tranny but would like the clutch to still be there. I would prefer something rebuilt so i wouldn't have to worry about sending things to the machine shop. let me know what you have and prices. ~thanks cd008@live.com

I was thinking the same when i first thought about moding my Z( the swap in coilover) and to my surprise tein just released this service. i would appreciate it if you they contact you back you can share the pricing information, along with the specs of the coilover your considering purchasing. -

actually tein did just this year have a special order suspension service. its aimed toward older cars, you send in your stock suspension assembled and they work with you to customize it. heres the link http://www.tein.co.jp/e/products/spd.html -
I'm in the process of buying a 240z,so i figured i might as well get started with looking ofr parts. I need an l28et,transmission,turbo,manifolds,ecu, harness,etc. Looking to spend about $1.7k. Let me know what you have and milage on the motor and tranny. Would prefer if it was a semi new rebuilt.(low milage) SORRY can some1 please move this to the parts wanted section.
