  1. YAY Dan thanks man. I don't remember having a hard time getting them pulling them off though, probably because i just ripped the seals off with a flat head screw driver. Quick question my new seals didn't come with these was i supposed to reuse them? IF thats the case the machine shop either F%$ked up or used new ones.
  2. yea it is weird im going to check them again today. I got a gasket set for an the entire motor and new valve stem seals came with them and the ring on them doesn't look like these.
  3. No I don't believe so the valve steam seals look like little springs if I'm correct these are about the size of a penny or dime.
  4. Lmao I love this post. I'm in Oakland man I feel you. I have the same drip from under the dash probally not as bad as yours though.I don't get it evresytime it rains though only when it comes down hard, I leave just put a hand towel down and I'm good.
  5. What about the late model 260z gas tanks do they have internal baffling similar to that of the 75-76?
  6. I put everthing from my p90 head in a bag when i sent the head to the machine shop. The machine shop cleaned it, pressure tested it, put in my new springs, valves, seals, keepers etc. So now all I have in my bag is the springs for the rocker arms, rocker arms, lash pads and these little metal rings. I'm not sure where they go but i know they came off the head. The machine shop didn't use all my old keepers i still had about 4 left so im assuming they already had some and used those in there, maybe they had some of the rings they had lying around and used them? I have 12 of them, I hope they didn't forget to install these or something or i will have some words for them monday morning. I checked the haynes manual and they don't show them in there. Thanks
  7. I have turbo injectors if you need them $55 plus shipping.
  8. If your just swaping a stock l28et you don't need a rising rate one just get one of their 1:1 ration fpr.
  9. Thank you guys for clearing that up. My friend said that it might be an oil cooler just wanted verification from the forums.
  10. I'm rebuilding my l28et and ran into a question about the only filter. In the haynes manual its say there a adpater like thing that goes in between the block and the oil filter on turbo cars( http://i592.photobucket.com/albums/tt10/jwink25/Z%20car%20parts/jasonsfolder054.jpg). My car motor didn't come with one just the oil filter to the block(82' f54 zxt). I've been looking through the forums and some people have it on their turbo block and others don't(http://i167.photobucket.com/albums/u157/MazterDizazter/FairladyZ/Picture338.jpg). Do i need it for the rebuild or can i just screw the filter into the block like other people? ~thanks Corey
  11. I have the same frame rail rust spot but on the passenger side. I planned on just cutting it out and welding in another piece of metal, since it was only a small section.
  12. Thanks pallnet for the info. Please let us know when you find out if they are high or low impendance. In the link i posted( http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread...ance+injectors ) in my previous post a guy in the thread said it was ok to run high impedance injectors with the stock low impedance turbo ecu if the injectors are close to the stock ones.
  13. Need 1. Arp headstuds(probably buy from ebay if not on here) 2.Clutch kit(any one have a act stage one kit?) 3.Fuel Pressure Regulator I have a shaved manifold and 11mm o-ring fuel rail now, so i'm not sure if i can use the stock FPR off my old manifold. Should i just go with an aftermarket 1:1 ratio FPR like aem or aeromotive? I'm using the stock ecu.
  14. My car is going to see the same conditions he said. It would be great to get a bolt in coilover kit.
  15. yea i have this book i was wondering about the coilover setups on the cars in the book. they look like they have full non cutting or welding coilvers
  16. I have a set for $60 if Burleigh doesn't come through.
  17. http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=148211&highlight=high+impedance+injectors I'm assuming the posts in this thread answered my question, correct?
  18. UPDATED LIST. All i need now is..... 1. New l28et water pump 2. ARP headstud set 3. Clutch kit. 4. Intercooler, piping, bov 5. 1mm metal head gasket.
  19. I would wait but I'm finishing my l28et rebuild up and i sold the fuel rail and bought a pallnet , and i don't really want to buy another stock fuel rail so that why I'm trying to find a similar injectors for now. There was a guy in the "list your l28et setup threaad" who was running 440cc Supra injectors on his stock ecu with a freshly rebuilt l28et, which was probally way worse then if he would have tryed to get similar injectors. He did say he was going to upgrade to MS soon though. *Edit* When i contacted http://www.fuelinjector.citymaker.com/ again they said the 240sx and the eclipse had the same size inejector, but they were both high impedance.
  20. I contacted http://www.fuelinjector.citymaker.com and asked them the same thing they recommended me the inp-065 they come from a 2.4l ecplise and their 265cc. I'm going to email them regarding the duty cycle. Are those ka24e 11mm o ring stlye, and use the same connector plug as the 280zx injectors?
