Hey Zerrari...Haven't received it yet so I'm unsure what rate I'll get against the Euro + shipping. But like the web site says 48 euros. I'd guess all said and done 100 quid (Cnd$$)in my hands.

Thanks for the link 'BfO'. I just ordered one for my rear hatch. I'll let ya know if I can make it work once it arrives. Regards.

Hey Hailstorm, the door panels are original. I just drew out a pattern that I liked and my upholstery guy did all of the hard work and deserves all of the credit. I had him add an extra 1/4 inch of foam to give the doors a little more of a fuller look. Thanks Armand. Kind Regards

Great job 250gto au. Very nice !! Thanks for the link. The air intake looks awesome. Regards.

Hey srgunz. I thought you might be correct on the placement of the tail lights. Amber above red. Like the Scorpion car in the pic you've included above I've also reversed mine. For 2 reasons. #1 The brake lights sit higher and are more visible from behind, no third brake light either. #2 I have a set of original tail lights and would have had to cut the weather proof casing because of clearance issues (too deep). Then I viewed the photos, thanks for the links staledale. I was happy to see that they did come with red over amber. Regards.

'76 280Z...2 of them One original w/ 40,000M and a lot of rust. The other has been cut up and heavily modified into a 250 GTO replica. Luv 'em both.

Hey SpeedRacer thanks for the link. I've been looking for a reverse light and that one from the 250 GT/ 275 GTB is about what I need. Kind Regards.

Well done Chelle !!! Thanks for the link smash.

Hey mudjr12. Welcome to the thread. Yeah...you're more than welcome here. Nice work on the Vela Rossa. This is a great sight and source for info on your project. The girls and guys are very helpful. Keep us posted with regular updates and more pics/details. Kind regards.

espeery27 No sorry I don't have his info anymore. Try Google, that's how I found him. How much are you looking to get for the set of signal lights??
-
Hey Zerrari... I was able to source out an original set of 250 GTO brake lights from a fellow in Neatherlands. They were new in the original box. With the remaining parts I put together a set of signal lights. Found him through 'Google'.

Thanh, excellent information. Thanks !!! Mine "do not" have any electrics in them (FYI). Couldn't afford/justify the added expense of having them recoverd in leather. But they are one of the most comfortable seats I've ever seen. Nothing but positive feedback from anyone who see's and then sits in them.

Reverse lights...What have you guys used??? I haven't really noticed anyone with them. Might need them on mine for legal issues. Any ideas/pics would be appreciated. Kind Regards.

Hey Thanh, E320's !? Thanks. Might be helpful in the future if I need to replace anyparts. I had a hard time finding parts the first time around but was able to locate what I needed from a Recaro dealer in Osaka, Japan. They said they were an older model (pre '90's). Sweetleaf, Yes the harness bar is located at the proper angle (no more than 10 degrees below the shoulder). Thank you for bringing up this very important saftey issue. You're absolutley right about a lower angle inflicting serious injury. Daeron, yes it is a S30 ('76 280Z) and I've posted larger pics, along with others, in my album. Kind Regards.

Thanks. The seats are Recaro's. Not sure about the model # or style. Had some foam added to the lumbar areas for extra support then reupolstered in a vinyle. Making the seat rails and getting them to fully function was a bit of a challange. More so with the driver side. I found the pass side was wider.

Hey jm6. Welcome to the GTO thread!! And congrats on your new project. You've hit on the 2 most difficult parts to source (latches and surrounds), sorry to say. Good news is if you find a supplier you'll be the most popular guy on here. If those are the only parts you're having trouble locating you've done quite well for yourself. Keep us posted with regular updates. Kind Regards.

The interior is finally finished. Hopefully I get it running next month. Being this close is harder than I thought. I wanna drive it !!!

Thanks 'CZC'. Kind Regards. Mark

Nice job Chelle. The car looks awesome. Did I understand you correctly...You're driving the car now?!?!?!? I'm so jealous. Seems like I'm miles away from that day. So many little details to finish up before it's ready.

Oz has a valid point (even if he does live upside down). I've made a few impulse purchases and obtained a few "bargains" in attempt to save some $$$. Only to have all of them sitting in a box. And at the end of it all the time spent/waisted on trying to figure it out and extra work involved didn't justify the savings.

Another 6 days (12-14 hrs ea.) has been spent and this time I feel like there has hardly been any progress. When I have to install and then re-install (up to 3 times) it gets very discouraging. And all of the little things like battery cables, clutch linkages, skid plates (one bolt always breaks) and speedo connections just take time. Want to thank all of those who have done such an amazing job of postings here on HybridZ. After a couple of years you forget how it all goes back togehter. But a quick visit and a short search later has always cleared up the confusion. Kind regards.

Just finished 6 long days (10-12 hrs ea.) working on the car. I'm physically and mentally beat. Progress, although slow, is being made. The wiring harness is finished, the rear end is installed (can't wait to see how the Quaife performs), serpentine system is done (looks amazing !!) and the interior is almost there. Just working on the speaker/sub brackets then I'll snap in the plastic panels. Got the front fenders finished and mounted. I'm really happy with the latch mechanism. After hours of sanding/buffing the aluminum has a mirror finish. Found a guy who is going to try and make me a set of trim rings for the headlights. I'll find out in a couple of weeks how they turned out and how much they cost me. Hey Mike, haven't forgotten about the valve covers. If you're still interested send me an e-mail.
